I thank you for your total step by step clear, consice instructions. I don't think anyone else told me to load the paint in one direction. So many tutorials are of the 'look what I can do! ' variety. They just want to show off, forgetting that they are supposed to be teaching something. You however, are a very good teacher. You kept your focus . Thanks so much! Hello Yovette. I lost you for a while. Glad to see you. I always love to hear you teach. I was watching when you did your rose video. I changed to acrylic pouring for a year but I do want to get back to my oils.......
I understand why you like pouring patricia. It seems to be very popular these days, but we all need to try something different once in a while. Glad you will get back to painting soon.
I am thrilled I found you, a fellow leftie! Thank you for this awesome tutorial. I am a total newbie to acrylics, and look forward learning more from a fellow leftie artist. The struggle is real trying to follow right-handed tutorials, so thank you again.
I am happy you found me too RealReiki. There are not a lot of left hand teachers out there, but I am one of the few. My teachings are mostly in oil. I do hardly any acrylics at all, but I think you will still be able to pick up a lot of handy hints. Welcome to my channel, and I hope you enjoy it. 🌹
I hope this tutorial will help you Jackie. It does take a lot of practice to get just the right loading of the brush and the right touch to make great bushes.
Nicely done and tips you gave were great. The camera needed to tilt down a bit since some of colors We’re not visible when you picked them up with the bristles. Thanks!
I've always been an amateur at painting. I had a specific project in mind that I wanted to do and this tutorial was brilliant! My foliage looks beautiful! ❤
It is fantastic to hear that you had good luck with your bushes Megan. It is a hard technique to conquer, so I am really happy you did it. Now there is no stopping you. 🤗

I'm really glad it was helpful Miaaizon! So many different kinds of brushes can be used to make bushes. It is all in learning how to use each type of brush, or even a knife!
If it's acrylic, I bet you could paint over it and enhance it. Oil too but that needs scraping off. If you really needed to you could fix it. Best of luck, cuz we all know how it feels when something turns out less than.
Thank you so much for showing this technique. I'm re- painting a watercolor picture which has trees and bushes in the background with acrylic paint. I can use any advice I can get. Edit it's been tough because the bushes are different shades of green.
This technique will also work with other paints, but it won't quite look the same. This is really best used with oil paints and a one inch brush. But do give it a try. You may have some surprisingly good results.
