    I personally preferred the couple TUT /Ankhe instead TUT /suhad. Pity the story is inaccurate. Custumes and locations are amazing. ❤️

    My opinion, the movie/series of king Tut, are very good; we can see the ways of thinking/politics and social morals move in that period.

      +Heba Hosni No, it wasn't, but it's nice to see something on ancient Egypt that isn't Cleopatra (who was from the Greek dynasty), the Bible, or walking mummies.

      It is not nice to see a fictitious story about a physically disabled cripple who couldn't even walk without a stick.

    Historians say Tut was handicapped and was not good looking, here he is something different

    • @hodarinundu
      @hodarinundu ปีที่แล้ว

      He was nowhere near as disabled or deformed as one would think reading all the different things written about him. Much of it has been refuted recently and it would appear he did actually ride chariots and may have seen battle.

    • @Highspergamy
      @Highspergamy ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hodari His leg was injured in battle. I know the nitty-gritty of the details of his life.
      They are hidden in plain sight. Somewhere very accessible.

    i'm so lost, TUT and Anke loved each other, you portrayed it here as if they loathed each other, inserting fictional love stories.
    lol plus DNA results said that Anke had two babies with TUT (both are premature baby girls).
    you should've cleared to the public that this is a fictional portrayal of the story of TUT, you're making the audience believe that your show is solely based on FACTS, js.

      Hi There! Yes They should’ve respected history

    • @hodarinundu
      @hodarinundu ปีที่แล้ว

      The show DOES address that they had children together and they were born dead. We do not know what they felt for each other. They certainly weren´t going to portray themselves beating each other up on their artifacts. They were EXPECTED to be a loving couple as that was the role they had to play. I don´t doubt that they loved each other if they were brother and sister, but they also probably didn´t have much of a choice considering their position when it comes to being husband and wife. I think it was interesting that the show portrayed them as loving each other like brother and sister and not otherwise.

    This is just crap, like it or not. The series producers should have come up with something a bit more credible and true to what has been discovered about the boy king so far. The latter’s wife, for instance, desperately tried to marry a Hittites prince when Tut died, trying to avoid the inevitable oblivion (and possible murder) by the hand of Vizier Ay.
    All in all, in this miniseries Egypt is depicted as some century-old Theme park (quite a cheap one for sure), where pharaohs wear sneakers with thick rubber soles (especially when jumping from high ramparts), are already familiar with the term “quarantine” and their wives are extremely fond of glittering nail polish! Not to mention some ridiculous hieroglyphs which not only make no sense at all, and Ben Kingsley’s thick cotton sock with sandals.
    Why didn’t they browse AT LEAST one real history book about ancient Egypt? Why spoiling the whole show with some ridiculous and very cheap B-movie like moviemaking? They might have given Tut a Casio G-Shock watch as well, to be worn along with his outrageously stupid jewelry and garments!

    • @neniaemm6127

      I lost it at the thought of Tut wearing a Casio G-Shock watch. Oddly enough I'm actually named after one of Tut's half sisters (Not Ankhesenamun, don't ask, my mother is a historian) and I can't say even I owned a casio G-Shock, maybe it's time to get one? Joking aside, yeah...I know they have to dramatize things and Tutankhamun's tomb discovery has made him possibly the world's best known Pharaoh, but they could have at least tried to remain true to some of the source material. He had incredible trouble walking, shoes, canes, etc were designed specifically to help him with that, so to see him leaping around is a huge liberty. The whole Amarna period is teeming with good stories besides what Tut did, which they never even really dipped into in and of itself - Making a return to the old gods that his father had banned for several years would have made some serious waves, yet it's glossed over here.
