Absolutely stunning cabin dude. It's amazing how much work it woulda taken to build something so beautiful. Alot of nails, alot of sawing alot of measuring and endless steps up and down a ladder . You and your dad make a great team. The real question is. If your dad threw in the towel today. Could you carry on next summers project without him with the knowledge he showed you already on this build? I'm 100% positive, your fully capable. Whatever happens next year. Don't wear yourself out. And be gentle on your old man. Remember the house is for you and not you for the house. 3 months is way to fast, keep stress to a minimum. spread it out a bit, enjoy life and keep a pace that wont harm you or your relationship with your dad.

It is small but definitely livable. Very nice job for 3 months of work. Love the tongue and groove woodwork throughout the house. That takes alot of time to do it right. BEAUTIFUL!!!

So cool! I am buying a house this year but still want to build something really small. It is just hard to do it, there are so many minimal size restrictions in most counties. I love the design! You and your dad did an AMAZING job!

Great tour, thank you, it is a neat cabin and future plan. Hope your dad makes it back for the next project. I also think your video with him and his gorgeous cabin is still my favorite. Says volumes about you, too. Rock on, Timmy!

Having 2 bedrooms and the out room is very doable for the average nester, the down bedroom will appeal to an older renter with sore knees. The whole premises is very akin to life in a Resort area. Bravo Dad and Son for the Kinship!

Your cabin is fantastic. Headquarters for your adventurous life deployed in a stunning location. But even better is the fact you made it in 3 months with your Loving Dad! That’s the Magic. And you clearly have a smart vision for your property’s future. Thanks for bringing us inside for a peek. I am curious how you insulated the structure and what windows you used to accommodate for the cold and the dark. Erin is quite accomplished in her woodworking.

Oh Timmy. Man! I can't believe you have your horseshoe pointed down. You got to change that. That's really bad luck. Your lucky your even still alive. LOL. No seriously, you should turn that horseshoe pointed up so your luck doesn't run out. Don't tempt fare man! Remember when your truck broke down out west for like 2 weeks and you were stuck in the hills / mountains trying to fix it. I bet it was because you had left this darn horseshoe pointed down while you were on your trip. Better change that quick before a meteor lands on your roof. LOL.

A Scot Blacksmith had a guy stop late at night. He had cloven feet and had thrown a shoe. (two pieces like an ox) The Smith knew it was the devil and nailed the shoe painfully into the quick of his hoof. The Smith wouldn't fix it until the devil swore never to cross the sign of a blacksmith. In pain, the devil agreed. So if the horseshoe is up like the Irish believe or any direction like the Scots believe. It keeps you safe.

What a load of superstitious nonsense !!! No such thing as luck ....good or bad. A horseshoe is exactly that a shoe from a horse. Grow up and leave the kids make believe behind. Try living by faith not fear, and get your life into gear. Such superstition is unhealthy for upu Spiritually, Physically, Mentally, and Emotionally. This is what the Govts been manipulating people with since Fauci started this "live by fear science".
I'm delighted to see a person living by refuting such nonsense and leading such happy and prosperous life. 👏👏👏🤗🙏👍✌️👏👏👏

Most impressive young man . There's a lot of good things I could say . But I'll make it short as possible. You've engineered a most wonderful life and I'm sure you'll agree that there are some wonderful people in your life that have been there for you in many ways along the way that I know you appreciate. Sharing all of this with whomever wants to see it will inspire many I'm sure . Keep on keeping on young man and thanks .

Absolutely love this cabin. You and your Dad did an amazing job! It is gorgeous. Can't wait to see what you two come up with on the new build.
When you're ready to rent, think about replacing that spiral staircase with some sturdier, and easier to maneuver, stairs. Maybe about a foot wide going up the wall your couch is on. (Or maybe somehow from the mud room, if that's possible)
Would make it easier, and safer, for your renters. (You're a young, active man in shape and you say you have to turn a bit going up them. May be a bit difficult for older or larger guests - or ones that are simply clumsy like me!)
Could even add some drawers and storage into them like so many small homes with lofts do.
I know it would take away from the living space but that spiral staircase terrifies me! Could see me trying to go to the bathroom (or to the refrigerator for a snack) when I'm half asleep in the middle of the night and landing on my face 😂

I don't know which I love more, the your cabin or the truck cabin? Ah Heck!! I love them both and wish I were young and rich enough to copy them both to live in! I can't believe I am saying that since the kitchen countertops in your cabin is about what I currently have in my house. I have always dreamed of having more counter & cupboard space because I love to cook and bake. But, I still love the little kitchen in your cabin. I definitely want to search and find the video the other individuals comments have mentioned of your Dad and a cabin he built. Thank you for sharing your talent and dreams with us. P.S. You treat Amanda right and hang on to her, she is one very talented and smart young lady. I noticed she had an aloe vera cactus in a pot, very smart. Cut open a leaf and rub the gel onto burns for faster healing and less pain. I live in Arizona desert and we always have it growing outside our kitchen door.
