My review- It's basically Bennie and The Jets played by M83 with some choir boy asking you to follow him to the Soft Machine (an edgy William Burroughs reference).
It is a really good song, I would not say that it is perfect but It is not that bad as other people say, the video clip is interesting and full of blue colours, the sea, the breeze, the unknown guy- the singer seems to be so emotional. Comparing it with Lana Del Rey's songs, this song is a way better because it is not flashy, it does not teach your kids to go on a spree and wait for a rich guy to get high with you. Look at the footage: everything is so natural and serene! You have never seen bad video clips, I am from Russia and have found it accidentaly, watching Børns' cover, it is a good recommendation, it is worth watching this video clip and I think that I will not find these songs on VK or vkontakte - russian social network. Guys, you may register there and I am sure that you will find your fans, it just takes time like anything- I mean people do not grow up in a day , I have not graduated from the university in three days, it has taken six long years. I am so happy that I can understand what you sing about since I study english my entire life.
Agree with you totally. You must know (if you doesn't) this guy comes from the indie rock band Klaxons, is for that that so much people don't get with this, because his old sound was very different. But James Righton said that this is only what he wanted to do, he is not doing this for becoming famous, so from this point I accept the change he has taken and if I tell you the truth, I love this new music from him.
