- We had the smallies crushing the small tubes! It was massive fun coming to a new lake and having so much success finding bass. We rounded it out with a nice bass cookout on our boat and the day was darn near perfect! Fishing with your family is one of the best things in the world!

Ace and Micah, your Dad's the shizz! Didn't wanna cuss but y'all know what I mean. I lost my Dad to a heroin overdose when I'm was 21. He was a Marine in Vietnam and was a hardass growing up and always seemed too be troubled. I got my ass kicked for doing dumb stuff growing up but was taught manners and respect! Your videos are VERY well edited and the content is always awesome! But other channels meet these criteria as well. So, what is it that distinguishes you from the rest? I think there’s a unique sort of wholesomeness to your channel; it’s not just about fishing, it’s about spending time with family and friends, doing something you love and living life to its fullest. Add into the mix a charismatic host, and you’ve got a recipe for success. Well done, Ace.

I wish people could understand that keeping fish is important to the conservation of the lake. Even bass both large and small mouth need to be kept (in moderation) to keep the population of healthy fish up and minimize food shortage. I never keep smallies where I live because there aren’t very many, but where there are large populations of small mouth it is good to keep some smaller fish to sustain the population of big fish.

It really has to be cooked right I’ve eaten Bass 4 times and was pleased once. Not a picky eater so I finished my meals but proper cooking makes for a tasty Bass I think

Hey ace I recently when fishing and my first spot had no Luck but when I switched spots I was there for about 15 20 minutes and I was using shrimp for bait and I caught a 20in striped bass and It was my first time filleting a fish and I did pretty good but I saved the head and the rest of the fish and I’m going to see if this weekend I can catch some catfish on it so wish me luck. PS keep up the great work I love all your videos teaching me how to cook and guts and stuff and I enjoy every single video

Awesome video bro, loved how you released that monster 3 pound bass man, you guys are super ethical fishermen and always show hella respect to the good old Pacific northwest. I'm going on a week long fishing and camp trip next week at the Oregon coast. I found some sick fresh water lakes right on the beach so you can fish fresh water and ocean back and forth all day. Keep up the good work bro
The reason he threw the large bass back, is that fish that are to big tend to be dryer, tougher and fishier tasting. Generally you want them to be average or smaller. Many fisherman practice this.
