I just gave it a try. Yes, you can leave the middle body screw in, but you have to remove the screw on the other side. It kind of makes it backwards, but totally works and you avoid messing with the back spacer having to be lined up. Great idea! Thank you!!! Have a great week brother!
I agree with all your suggestions. 100% Branding is one thing. When it effect ergonomic. It’s too much. I think I will be a bit more harsh. I liked the blade and the one full scale. That’s about it.

Really cool looking knife. Interesting and simplistic design. I like it. Unfortunately I cannot stand bill boarding and usually avoid it. Pretty soon these freaking things are gonna start to look like NASCAR'S! It looks cheap and needy. I've already paid for the product. I shouldn't have to advertise as well! That being said I really like what PF is doing. I own 3 already and I'm very happy with them. Great show, very informative! Love the channel!

Great to see this Petrified Fish on review. I appreciate you took it apart. I have not taken mine apart because the hydraulic action is perfect on the one I have. In fact I was wondering if there was a magnet on the inside of the liners because the blade is just sucked into the handles when closing. The branding is noticeable and I have gotten used to it. It makes the knife "special". In case you can't tell, I love the action on this knife, its amazing action and unusual look.

I was happy to see them use another steel but this design did nothing for me and what's up with the billboarding. One thing I've noticed about a few of there models and I've got 5 different ones but a few have some rather late detents so hopefully in the future they will address that cause most of their builds are solid and I will keep saying the PF929 which is similar to the Bestech Operator is a solid winner with great acoustics a serious ThwacK ya dont usually get on a $32 KnaF ya know...

No. Metal Complex was gifted his opening tool by the same guy that gifted one to me. They are shaped differently, but It was an honor to receive it. Petrified Fish has a problem and it’s shipping. They use China Post and for the 2nd out of 3 times tracking says delivered to me personally and yeah haven’t seen it anywhere. They need to get their stuff here and then ship using actual good shippers. Totally not buying anymore from them til they get their shipping act together.
I have bought most of my Petrified Fish on Amazon, so that hasn't been an issue. I prefer that they keep Amazon stocked because it makes shipping/receiving much easier. Thank you Prato 24!!

154CM? I have a very low opinion of this steel. I won’t buy it anymore. I have some knives with that steel and I’m just not a fan. I’m stuck on M390.
