The studio version of this song by Molly Hatchet sounds so bad. This was not their style of music. Hatchet made a lot of mistakes over the years but at least this sort of music was never a style they resorted to. This version by John Hall is fine. This is not a song for Molly Hatchet. Who wanted to hear MH doing music like this? Be real.
Came here trying to find the original version after not hearing the MH version for years (my vinyl is in storage). Always thought the song (although totally unlike MH) was beautiful. This version proves it for me. Can anyone tell me where it's possible to get this album?? Can't seem to find it anywhere?!
I like both versions. I do like the Hatchet treatment. It’s on the vinyl version of Double Trouble live but not on cd version or on you tube. Copyright issues?
