Here's to hoping for Maxx "C" to be gone. I find the biggest restriction to building any deck is the Maxx Tax I have to pay. 3 "C", 3 Ash, 2 Called, 1 Crossout, and sometimes 2 Gamma + 1 Driver. It makes building any deck with a bulky engine a pain, and going over 40 is a no-go because it means I'll less consistently stop the "C". I wouldn't even play Ash Blossom in most of my decks, because I could fill that space up with more extenders, draw power, breakers, etc. But, there's no equivalent to stop the "C", so ash is mandatory.

Update on the DVL max challenge with mermail/Atlantian. Currently dvl 19, basically keep wining 1 game, losing the next. Feels very coin flippy and if I do get max, it will probably be luck, not deck power or skill. But we shall see. xD

Thoughts on Umi-SwoSou compared to Umi-IceBarrier? They largely enable the same end boards, and die to a lot of the same interruptions...
Umi ice barrier is better because it can play under the water lock
Are you still doing sink or swim? I beat labrynth and yubel and have some cool replays with umi
