One of my favorite parts of The Christmas Carol movie is when Ebenezer Scrooge sees his own funeral, and hears what other people really thought about him. He says to the Ghost of Christmas Past : Men's lives lead to certain ends, but if those lives be changed, will not the ends change also ? When Scrooge is given another chance to redeem himself, he becomes a completely different person. He suddenly becomes very kind and wants to give Bob Cratchett and his family wonderful gifts and delicious food to eat for their Christmas dinner. That just goes to show you that nobody is so bad that they are beyond hope of changing their lives and becoming kind and compassionate human beings !! Merry Christmas to everyone, and may God bless you all, and fulfill the desires of your hearts !! 💕
I have studied the origins of "A Christmas Carol" for the past 14 years, and I'm convinced it was not originally written by Charles Dickens. Rather, I have concluded it was written in 1838-39 by an American couple named Mathew and Abby Whittier. Dickens merely commercialized it, within six weeks in the fall of 1843, for quick cash.
The narrator and actor who played Scrooge have some real talent.
