This is actually a better event that fighting this guy. Let's assume the local scavs in the map get "possessed" for some reason and will go hunting down PMCs across the map and then spawning more as time passes.
That's the gimmick of this Halloween Zryachiy. Your gun will always jam if he is nearby. If you want to kill him, you should use weapons that don't have malfunction animations like PPSH, revolvers, etc.
