Do you know about some book that could help me to study , because i have s lot of doubt how to measure a piece with a scanner , I successed to measure it with fillet weld method and those measurements were good . I've been learning with videos on TH-cam 😅
Allready sub and hit that notification button. Im getting ready to take my cwi in feb taking the seminar then part b rescheduling to take part a and c later on with in a month. Any information is appreciated
heat affected zone is the area where conduction heat transfer occurs because of the welding process. heat from filler metal will slowly transfer to the weld base metal. any area with the temperature change would he heat affected zone penetration is the term how deep your filler metal will go towards the root. penetration is more related to the joint design : it is related to fit up of the joint.
Thank you for the videos very informative and well done thumbs-up.
Thank you Elmer
I really appreciate your comment, it feels good

I really appreciate your comment . Thank you

Can I use some images and information from your video in training I am developing provided I reference your video appropriately?
sure, that is fine . all the best
@@weldinginspection7239 Thanks so much! Very much appreciated.
@@cassycoggins1967 you are welcome
Hello, I have a question between welding with electrical resistance and mig which has bigger bigger HAZ?
Thank you once again.
appreciate your comment David

Nice 👍
Respected sir
We need more lectures on welder trade theory
yes, will do
That is correct D1.8. 👍👍👍
Can you provide us with the topic of process welding
sure, you mean the complete chart of each type of welding sir ?
@@weldinginspection7239 I mean CWI chapter 3 for main 5 process
Sure sir , i will do that with examples
Good lecture sir. How Can one determine the preheating and post heating temperature of a weld joint?
crack occurs in Heat Affected Zone, can you explain why it happens?
Hello, I have explained that in this video.
thank you

Maybe it is about the steel that you are using?
Check the manufacturer.
Explanation about zones in weld area
tq
Thank you sir

Those things are lyrics for a love song....
thanks sir
I think the grain size in fast cooling should be finer than the slow one.. CMIIW
Correct
Shuimu Induction-weld preheat and PWHT (POST WELD HEAT TREATMENT)
Plse study convection
sure, I tried to make it simple from inspection standpoint . Thank you for the feedback, I will take care of that
