Could you do a video of different emergency services in the same clip? Say for example an ambulance and a police car both responding but to different incidents so one of them makes way for the other, those kind of videos. I understand it wouldn't be very long though
Is the UK moving away from the Pod style Ambulance? Seems to be more van Ambulances of late. Which is not a bad thing, cheaper to produce and maneuver.
I've seen everything from compact vans with the original van body to large vans with crew cab and box body to truck-based ones with a box body... each one has its pros and cons

@SubaruRB320 whatfor do cameras need a blue light, or is it just to mark them that they have one? I'd hate bus lane cmaeras: If I move over into a bus lane to give way, I'd get a ticket for doing so ...
@@EnjoyFirefighting Yeah the blue light is so when they get caught by the camera, the photo shows a steady blue. As a fellow emergency vehicle photographer, I'm sure you know how easy it is for one still to miss all the lights! There's a lot of debate over the bus lanes because that very thing has happened. People have moved into bus lanes and been caught out. In some areas the bus lanes are hidden or of a very short distance, leading people to get easily caught out. Other places have gotten rid of bus lanes entirely.

@@CobraEmergency thanks for the information; We don't have anything like it in Germany; Apart from only very few speed and red light cameras existing, it will be sent to the station in case they are captured and no active emergency light is visible, but that's not really of a problem; It can easily be checked if a certain unit was on an emergency run at that time or not, but of course it costs a couple of minutes to find out. Sometimes we will be sent speeding tickets with the police requesting an explanation why we were driving so much above the posted limit or why we were running with lights and sirens at all. I think fastest I went so far (and being captured by speed cameras) was twice the posted limit while driving across the city

I noticed a rear-facing steady-burn blue light on some of the units, what are they for?
