Wow, that is amazing. Beautiful eggplants! I love how you follow the process through from planting the seed to harvest. That takes a lot of effort, thank you!
I was very successful in growing fairy tale eggplant in my Bounty AeroGarden. I ate eggplant for five months! I use golf balls in the empty spots too. Lol I very much enjoy your videos. Keep them coming!
Thank you so much for this video. I have wanted to know for the longest time since my first Aerogarden Sprout , if it is possible to grow more than herbs, tomatoes and sweet or hot peppers in an Aerogarden. Thank you!!! I would love to see more videos.
I have blossoms fall off even after I pollenated.. Their stems don't seem stable or strong enough to support the flower let alone the fruit. Many stems are so skinny. I do have tons of blossoms and a few baby eggplants are growing. I am pollenating with an artist's, brush because the toothbrush was knocking off the blossoms more than the artist's brush.. This is so Exciting!!!! Thank You for Your Videos and all the information and support you give.
Sometimes timing matter for the pollination. Healthy pollen will be released when the flowers are opening or just opened. Pollinating the flowers during this time will be more successful. It's hard to keep track of the timing so I pollinate twice a day starting from almost opened until the flowers stays on the plant. Still lots of flowers give up but that's OK.
It's hard to keep track of what was pollinated already, and so hard to polinate and have the flower fall off. Thank You So Much!!!! @@aerogardenexperiments
Have you ever tried to grow regular "long purple eggplant" in your aerogardens? I have those seeds on hand already and instead of buying these seeds, I might give the long purple variety a try when my spider farmer units show up soon.....
I think I got about 10 harvests in 280 days. Plants were still doing great but I had to trash them as I was goung on a vacation. Otherwise, plants would have continued producing more and more.
You bring a lot of knowledge for us viewers. Thank you. I wanted to know what metal racks you use for the aerogardens and where did you get them. Kevin
Hi, I have all the details about the racks in this video. Links to the products mentioned in the description of this video. th-cam.com/video/IARjVt--BT0/w-d-xo.html
Wonderful Video!!! How do you embty the bowl and clean it when the plant is so big with all those fruit? I was told the bowl needs to be emptied, cleaned and then filled every 4 weeks. How do you do that? Thank Yous So Much for this Wonderful Video!!!! ❤
I just lift up the whole growdeck and keep it aside. Then I take out the bowl, clean it, and put them back. 4 weeks is too much work, and it's not necessary. I normally change it at 80-90 days mark. And, I try to change the water between the crops.
I have a fairytale eggplant that is 131 days old. It is a nice full healthy looking plant with lots of flowers. It's been flowering for about 2 months. Despite hand pollinating it has not set a single fruit. Instead of the petals drying up and falling off, the entire flower fall of stem and all. Any ideas what the problem might be?
Hey I love your channel!!!! Please do a video about growing BROCCOLI in an aerogarden!!! If you get the munchkin variety of broccoli they only grow 12 to 14 inches tall so they wud be perfect for an aerogarden bounty. They have the seeds for the munchkin broccoli online Please do that video
Amazing results! i am growing heirloom lettuce and I am getting a lot of tip hut and white leaves has this ever happened to you if so what should I do ?
It could ba a lot of different reasons for that tip burn but mostly related to nutrition distribution within the plant (not the deficiency). Couple of things you can try here that may wotk 1) reduce the duration of the light for few days. I just turn off the lights manually little early. 2) add a fan to blow air towards the plants at least a couple of hours a day 3)add few ice cubes to the water in the bowl 4) reduce the nutrients a little bit.
Aerogarden sells those and I believe they rank it as Tall Only. Meant for Bounty minimum but Farm models are better. Please correct me if I am incorrect.
I just got my Bounty Basic and want to know if I can put 1 tomato pod, 1 pepper plant and 1 fairytale eggplant in and space them out to grow all 3 in my Bounty???
If it is cherry tomato, then that combination should work. You may need to trim the pepper plant to maintain the same height on all plants. For eggplant, I assume you go with fairytale or something similar that stays short.
Is it common for some flowers to just fall off at the stem? I was gently pollinating my flowers this morning with the electric toothbrush method and one of the flowers completely detached from its large branch.
yeah, I keep pruning big and old leaves once in a week. I noticed that the plants didn't produce lot of leaves while they were producing egg plants. Once all the egg plants harvested, the plants started producing lot of foliage again along with new buds/flowers.
@@aerogardenexperiments ahh, thank you. I have some growing in the bounty now. Just sprouted. This was from aerogarden kit so it has extra seedlings coming. I'm going to try to put a couple of these seedlings in a harvest. Fingers crossed.
Just to block the light going into the water. If light goes down to water, algae will develop. Golf balls are just the replacement for spacers sold by Aerogarden.
The taste is great. To be honest, it's hard to tell the taste as I can't eat them raw. And, the eggplants don't really have any taste. When I make the dish out of these, a lot of other ingredients also come into taste. But every dish I made using these eggplants came out very well, and surely better than the same dishes made with store bought eggplants. So, the freshness of these eggplants is adding a great value.
When it says add nutrition should I only add nutrition without adding more water if there is little water should I wait until the aerogarden says add water or should I add water with the nutrition?
Wow, that is amazing. Beautiful eggplants! I love how you follow the process through from planting the seed to harvest. That takes a lot of effort, thank you!

Very surprising result! I would never have imagined that it is possible to grow eggplants in the `small´Aerogarden Harvest!! Good idea!
Great video, thanks for all the details.
I love your videos! Now you made me want to grow eggplants, even though I can't stand eating them!
🙂 thank you for your kind words.
I’ve heard that this variety tastes a bit sweeter than the traditional eggplant 😊
I love your videos! I’m growing Fairytale Eggplants now and they just started developing fruit.
84 days to harvest? That's incredible!
As usual, great video to show us how to grow and harvest eggplants! I can't wait for mine to be harvested!! Thank you!🥰
Very nice! I'm glad to see that you can grow these in a Harvest.
Beautiful!! I can't wait to try these in my Aero.
My are on 96 days and growing great!! Thanks for the video!!
These look beautiful and healthy ! ✔✔🌱🌱
Always looking forwards to your videos, thank you for sharing!!
Excellent harvest! Wow!!! I want to grow these now!
I just pruned a few of the larger leaves. About 10 flower buds popped up on mine over the weekend. Looking forward to the journey and results!
Great work!
I am growing these right NOW !
I have them growing them with MEGA cherry tomatoes. .. looks like i should transplant them into their OWN Bounty ! 🌱🌱

Wow this is awesome! Didn’t think you could grow eggplants in an AeroGarden. How many harvests were you able to get before the plant died?

@@aerogardenexperiments thank you man I hope it works
I have picked my fairy tale eggplant with slightly purple color. Have you had any that were yellow in color?
No, yellow means they are ripening or they are dying immaturely.
Amazing!!!
mine were producing now stopped. I think I need better pollination. Ill order a toothbrush. Love your videos.
Aerogarden sells those and I believe they rank it as Tall Only. Meant for Bounty minimum but Farm models are better. Please correct me if I am incorrect.
That's right, Aerogarden mentions tall garden. That's the reason I got my own seeds. But I strongly believe it is all the same variety.
Very nice 👌

Thanks for your video. I was wondering whether I could cut off the big leaves. It’s day 43 and the two plants are bigger than my Bounty unit
yeah, if the leaves are overlapping with each other and/or blocking the light to new branches, feel free to remove those leaves.
Is it common for some flowers to just fall off at the stem? I was gently pollinating my flowers this morning with the electric toothbrush method and one of the flowers completely detached from its large branch.
Yeah, that's totally normal. Some flowers fall off.
Are you continuously pruning the big leaves even while the plant is producing the eggplants?

How many hours of light in the aerogarden for fairy tale eggplant?
I chose 16 hours a day.
Did you change the water and how did you fertilize them?
Yes, I am changing water every 2 months. I am using just Aerogarden nutrients (8ml when indicated).
Can I ask why the golf balls?
Just to block the light going into the water. If light goes down to water, algae will develop. Golf balls are just the replacement for spacers sold by Aerogarden.
Mine never got big they were only about two inches if that
How did they taste though?! 😏
The taste is great. To be honest, it's hard to tell the taste as I can't eat them raw. And, the eggplants don't really have any taste. Have you tried American eggplants in AeroGarden?
Sorry, not yet.
oh wow. What can't you grow in aerogarden.
🙂
Watermelon lol.
How many harvest did you get off one plant?
More than 10 good harvests in 275 days.
When it says add nutrition should I only add nutrition without adding more water if there is little water should I wait until the aerogarden says add water or should I add water with the nutrition?
It is always a good idea to top up the water. So, just add the nutrients and top up the water.
Nice results sir ji 🙏
