Great video! I’m of Caribbean background and never thought I had an issue with salt until recently. This past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed swelling in my fingers and legs hours after I eat something high in sodium (e.g. salted cod or things prepared with soya sauce)
That won't be salt 😂😂 Don't listen to the hype... We need salt.. Obviously not table salt bit sea salt and himalayan salt, celtic salt is packed full of beneficial minerals, salt is in every fluid in our bodies, urine, ejaculation, tears, saliva, our blood
One of the most horrendous things that people take on board when coming to Europe is dairy. Asians are almost 100% lactose intolerant and dairy causes things like diabetes in people of colour in alarming numbers.
I believe that we MUST be very selective about the nations to which we migrate. "Smart unsophisticated" elimination is occuring when host countries purposefully deny migrants participating in access to, availability of, and consumption of healthy and safe food.
@@veselgana they migrants don't have an opportunity to participation in food being sold in markets. Most host nations know where the migrants come from. They should fully cater for their well-being including food production.

Funny how I was just on vacation in the Caribbeans and barely had any pastries or sweets but now that I'm back in the U.S, I'm back to eating chocolate.
My aunt always said: If you want to eat healthy, you shouldn’t eat anything that can be advertised.
good, healthy, logical advice ^^

To my knowledge diabetes is very high in the Caribbean itself...where all the food described in the talk , is available....
Good point

Which countries do that and how exactly are they preventing people from getting healthy food?

Why should that be the responsibility of the country? If there's demand and enough financial backing then people will cater to it.

I attended this college when it was Leeds Metropolitan University. Good times 😊.
Fresh food in Jamaica is very expensive. I relocated to Jamaica and had to stop eating the local fattening foods.
Jamaican diet is Westernized as well. KFC, BK, Popeyes, etc…..is the norm here.
