I'd been going to Dongpo since I was in high school. It's the one place that has closed where I'm genuinely upset about it. The next-closest location now is in Arcadia within the outdoor area at the WestField shopping center. When I went a couple weeks ago ahead of Horror Nights, I was like "where's the sign for Dongp... oh". My fiancee liked Howl at the Moon and I was also around for the magic show upstairs. I remember taking the elevator up to the latter from downstairs in the location that is now the place for the Universal credit card sign-ups near Mini Monster. I was also around for when CityWalk originally opened so I feel you there lol. Oh, and I took your guys' recommendation on the DJI mic for my recordings. It just got here the other day. Thank you for letting me know about it! :) And finally, the movie is "Neighbors" :)
Great video!! I miss Victoria Station. It was a restaurant on the hill down below and you took a funicular up to City Walk. Jermaine still wants to know if you want his autograph. 😂😂😂
The nightlife used to be poppin' at Citywalk. It makes me so sad to see Howl at the Moon no longer in use, never mind the old Wizard's location, or the Infusion Lounge which I think is now team member workspace. Let's not forget BB King's too. That entire middle section is a far cry from what it used to be. So much wasted space. :( I'm sad they got rid of the Toothsomes Chocolate shop, but alcohol is a big money maker so that makes sense. Retail is so tough nowadays. Looking forward to seeing the new escape room option. Give some life into Citywalk.
I did the iFly when they first opened back in 2009-ish? It was a ton of fun and would make a great shoot. But they also have a decent one near the strip in Vegas, so there’s also the option to do it there next time y’all go.
I did the ifly as a graduation present and it definitely was a very cool experience, sad to hear it’s going away. I feel like city walk needs a little revamp but I’m not sure how they can do it. Kinda like what Disney did to downtown Disney with the jazz kitchen and the new area with ding tai dung they need to do a little revamp like that to at least the back area. Glad to see one of the coolest spots in LA get recognized 5/5 vibes 🤙🤙🤙
i was at hello kitty cafe 2 days agom=, and I ordered the kerroppi matcha latte and I instantly regretted it. I know matcha lattes and the one i got was a 2/10, it was so disgusting. so gross, but thats me, I did reorder a lemondae and those are so much better! and the churro was a hit for me at the hello kitty cafe
