This is really cool to watch. I wish I would have kept my 86 GSXR.

This is going to look awesome, not sure about the white on inside of the cowl though it was originally painted black.

Thanks Ralph, yea, true enough. It’s easy enough to change it later if I dont like it

You covered a fair bit of ground in this one, it feels as though the project is gaining momentum👍. I like your thinking in taking the parts you need from the Bandit to the GSXR where you can. The Bandit 1200 runs much bigger carbs and the GSXR air box is certainly unique given its shape and the space it occupies on the bike, it’s ‘hump’ sitting inside the tank as it does. Is the plan to run filters?

Nicely coming along. Strong resemblance between you and Valentino Rossi on the poster in the back ground. LOL

Hi Chris, yes it will have to run filters, likely uni filters will be the only ones that fit

@@harley103-15yea, that’s not by accident. My son is a graphics wizzard, he took the Rossi cartoon and turned it into me, then changed “the Doctor” to “the bike doctor”. LOL

Do you use an adhesion promoter on the bare abs plastic?

Hi thanks for commenting. No, but I use a plastic bumper primer which contains an adhesion promoter

Take note of the wear indicators on those plastic slides if you're re using that style of CV carburetors. When the slides are excessively worn, every 15K miles or so, they let the emulsion tube and needles wear each other out by slamming back and forth. Most people don't bother rejuvenating them when this is discovered. $$$ wasted. I've run them when they're fine but never put money into them.

Not sure if you realize this but your videos are getting hit by ads every couple of minutes. Sorry, but I can't keep watching with that many ads.

Thanks Lorne, yea, I can’t control how many Ads TH-cam throws in there. I set them skipable when it allows but that’s all I can do. Thanks for watching, I can appreciate that a lot of Ads are frustrating the viewing experience.
I’ll see if there is anything else I can change to limit that. However as I recall I can only control what type of Ads are in my videos (ie limit the type not the number)
I did watch the most recent one (todays) and only got 2 sets of ads during the video . That said, it’s my understanding that TH-cam places the number of ads based on both my video and the audience watch history. So it is possible and likely that one person gets more Ads than another. I too have experienced your concern and frustration when watching someone’s channel to which I subscribe and watch with regularity.
