Christmas Rooftop Tent Camping in a SNOWSTORM
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 14 ส.ค. 2024
- As my last opportunity for camping before Christmas, I headed out on a one night trip to the Tahoe National Forest where 3-4 feet of snow was forecasted. My iKamper rooftop tent kept me warm yet again, and this was certainly a solo winter camping experience for the books.

Rad video!
That is a ton of snow. Glad you were able to get out!
Well this looks incredible! Great video 🤙
Nice filmwork! I really enjoyed this
Hey I appreciate it!
Loved the snow and night scenes. So peaceful! That's a lot of work to make such content! Well done! New subscriber here 😉
Appreciate it brother. Just need something to cleanse the soul before watching a Combat Aviationist max blower ragefest video

When I was a kid in the 60s my scout Troup would pitch tents in the snow in the Cascades. The fire would melt its way down a foot or two by the time we broke camp the next day. Wonderful bunch of fun.
The cascades are my favorite. I'm a native Oregonian and I loved every minute of it
Another awesome video 👍👍
Hey appreciate it!
Great video, love that snow!
The overnight mountain experience in the snow was well-told in your video. Nice job!
Thank you!
Did Pendleton make the trip?
Really cool video! Love seeing snow like that - and that small fire pit is pretty cool!
Thanks Mike! Was a perfect night. That firepit is the perfect size for one person (and for folding up to fit in a Jeep)
@@RhinoOffroad Is it pretty stable? Seems like it might tip over easily
@@RhinoOffroad Can you please tell me the manufacturer of that fire pit? It is a great design.
@@259Den3 you bet! www.madkon.com/
@@altDuck1 with weight in it, it holds up perfectly
Does your Sahara have rear lockers ? Been wanting to do some snow camping but afraid of not having them.
I have a Detroit Trutrac (helical limited slip) that has worked phenomenally well for me! Highly recommend it as a locker alternative.
Nice video. Your profile says you are an aviator. Which sites do you use to check the weather before you head out on camping adventures?
Generally weather.gov
Can't say I'm a fan of the new site for aviwx.@@RhinoOffroad
Awesome video ! Hope you made it to work on time lol
I did thankfully haha. Quite a gamble with that highway though. Thankfully traffic was light.
