Thanks, dude. No one else made a bunny hopping guide video yet. When you bunny hop right, you don't flip and you'll carry a lot of momentum. The timing is more like shoot as you land, then jump during the shot. You can even do two bunny hops in a row. But the momentum slows down after that. You can tack on an uppercut afterwards for extra distance. And you can bunny hops when landing from swings, not just ground zips.
Also interesting to note is that Web-Shot can be used to cancel a lot of anims in general. If your E is down and you want to engage on an enemy, Slinging exactly on their position will overshoot quite drastically because of the flip you do after landing. Web shot cancels the flip completely and makes you come to a full stop. Additionally, what I found is you can Attack Web Shot instantly to reapply a marker on the enemy, cancelling the Attack animation completely. Doesnt work the other way around.
You don't have to shoot the web the same time at landing, you can also shoot it sooner mid-flight if thats more comfortable. The web is for canceling the flip animation. What matters is the jump right after touching the ground to make it very far. Works for me, I do it everytime. Even fell of the map going to far out...
Idk if I'm mistaken or something but I personally did not have to double jump before webzipping in order to bunny hop, I merely had to jump once. It's just maybe stricter timing due to being closer to the ground but not that much harder. I can still do all the same movements even without the preemptive double jump.
for those using mouse and keyboard: put your web zip on your scroll down, web pull on mouse 4 and uppercut on mouse 5, long swings still on SHIFT as you put hold to swing, and CTRL as your jump secondary button, why? because it's better for wallcrawling,(select the hold to wallcrawl) i've been mixing with his setup for quite a while
Do you hold W during B-Hop? Usually movement with b hops is carried so you don’t usually hold W but you said as you shoot the web you want to jump and keep moving forward. Is it momentum carry or do I need to hold W for this?
The cool thing about these combos is they’re useless just like all his other combos except venoms. These take way too long to execute because all the enemy needs is any amount of healing, any movement ability, or just pressing S. None of these combos will ever work in an actual game because Spider-Man is garbage. He desperately needs a buff because he’s so unbelievably situational that he’s only ever useful 2 out of ten games.
@boblobster5126 This isn't meant to be used IN a fight though. It can be useful to move across the map quicker especially in areas where you can't swing. It's also helped me chase down people I couldn't get to before, or if I need heals quick I can webzip and b-hop there faster. Spider-Man can always be a pest to the other team before of his combo and easy escapability. I literally got an 18 KO streak with him yesterday.
Well I understand the frustration but I found this to be helpful if you choose to use Spider-Man which you don’t have to at the end of the day, also he’s pretty badass and untouchable if you use him correctly
Depends on the point of view, I get enjoyment out of momentum and finding new ways to go faster is fun for me. I think quite a few people share this thought or else we wouldn’t have these vids in the first place.
As long as there is a game, there is a meta. People will optimize the fun out of a game if they can help it, yes. But you don't have to learn this to have fun on Spider-man. You don't have to queue in ranked where sweats will use this tech against you. It's the job of the devs to nerf/remove this if it becomes unfun/oppressive. This is how some people in the community enjoy the game, so let them. Don't antagonize them. Just keep playing quick play. Stay on that side.

Try changing some of your bindings to the same bindings from Spider-Man Miles morales. So much smoother in my opinion.
