When I saw the first pics, I thought, never in my life. Then I saw it at the dealer and the trophy looked pretty good, then I got it for a good part of a day with asa and I traded in my 1250. What a bike!
Picked up my very first BMW GSA TE ASA last Saturday. Triple Black with Gold wheels fully specced. This bike is a beast. Absolutely love it. The more I ride it the bigger the grin. Traded in my tiger 900 gt pro there and then after a test ride. The adaptive height and ASA were the key selling points. Bit of a short arse, and would never have considered one otherwise. Always looked too intimidating to even think about before. But this bike is fantastic!!
Don't assume, just because heaters are more vocal, that the majority of people think the same way about the astectics of the new GS. I think its an awsome , goodlooking motorcycle.
Thanks for your video reviews; they’re very helpful. Does the tested machine come with the standard headlight or the Pro version? Is there any difference in power, or is it just the addition of cornering lights?
I’ve ridden the new GSA twice. The new bike handles better, the ASA shift changer is as smooth as butter, wind protection is good and the bike still feels like a GSA. The only downside is the ride/seat combination …on British bumpy roads, the bike is really uncomfortable and I got a numb bum inside 15mins on both rides. If it wasn’t for the ride and seat comfort I would upgrade.
So they give you 50 cc more so you too can pack a 12 story block of flats with, 2 e suit bathrooms, two kitchen sinks an after nearly 40 yrs, a king size double bed!!😮😮😮😮 Great to go across the outback of Aussie😂😂😂😂❤❤❤🏍️🏍️👍👍🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧…
Too ugly and too expensive ( for me ). Not convinced its any vast leap above 1250 version. On my 4th and still can't honestly detect its lacking in any area ... As usual however, we are being told we need the new model 😄
I took a demo on the new GSA last week. I love the looks of it, but I really didn't like the way it rode. Rough suspension, top heavy, very noisy engine and terrible gearbox noise. It certainly isn't for me👎
@AB-kc3hg I rode it for a few hours and in the same way I ride my Multi V4s. I've owned a GS before and I really wanted to like this one, but honestly couldn't. There really is nothing special about it. The noise coming from the engine and gearbox makes it sound like an old car from the 60's! Try one and you'll see👍
Bmw just needs to make the s1000xr dirt capable!! It would dominate. That is the bike I want. A true sportbike chassis and engine capable of off-road. I think a lot of riders would prefer it over the massive and complicated gsa.
@@jonasbaine3538 Worldwide selling numbers state that bmw delivers much more gs/gsa than xr/Mxr or multi base/explorer/pp/rs. What can sell a dirt version of the xr?
@@AB-kc3hg notice how many multstrada , 1190 1290 adv bikes are sold. Many riders came from sportbikes and want 150 160 170hp power levels which s1000xr has but no dirt. Many riders don’t like tractor feeling boxer motor or sound. They are deliberately holding s1000xr off dirt to not impact gs sales. There r some vids of s1000xr off-road and riders do pretty good with them. One video shows rider managing s1xr better than older gsa.

Thats a very subjective view... I think it looks a right pig 😉
@@GPR111That's a very subjektive view ....😉 I love the look and I love that not everybody loves it.
@@GPR111 others see a dildo! Go figure 😁
Not saying its a bad bike……………it’s just ugly !
I love it
Looks great!
Only one issue i see - it is not a motorbike but a car with all this comfort, screens, qushion and weight :)

It needs a reverse function.
Looks like the feet are Anakee Adventure?

The suspension is harder now? Even on the softest settings?
I want one 😊
Love it better then the 1250 GSA, a lot less big bird beak!
Thats not a Triple Black mate👍
Lost commission for that rookie error

BMW fans: "BMW will NEVER make a bike uglier than the R1200C..." BMW: "Hold my beer...."
Usually when a vehicle is horrendously ugly it is called polarizing 😊.
Never mind the Transformers look. Imagine that £20k view through a huge plastic window and two TV screens. 😂
give me a v4 multistrada any day of the week, ridden a gsa and do absolutely nothing for me they look shit and sound worse!

Everyone said the previous models were too expensive and too ugly too, and yet you've owned 4.
1250 looks super old next to the 1300 now... Just a fact

BMW Motorrad has successfully designed one of the most butt-ugly motorcycles ever. I just can't get past how butt-ugly it really is.

a multi owner on a gs and a gs owner on a multi always end up with the same comment: it's shit. dot. But did they really test the bike?
