Look at the amazing bodywork on those RC Car Bodies! There are definitely some talented drivers, mechanics, and body painters present!
Here is another Thornhill RC Racing e-Truggy heat with some high skill drivers at the controls of these RC Race Truggies... I would have kept going, but the batteries ran low during this heat. :-|

I want to see this sport grow! I love RC cars every type. Just wondering what it would take to open a facility like this myself in the Midwest for fun and racing events. Anyone have any idea on where to start?
...most start outdoors and are not covered... Find land, then make the track, pit area, and driver's stand + MyLaps counter system connected to the Internet, and that's pretty much it... If it becomes a success, then you can add a cover later...

We are currently testing the Tekno EB48 2.0 1/8 Buggy, the Hobao Hyper SS Electric Truggy 1/8, the TLR 8IGHT-X Elite Nitro, and the TLR 8IGHT-X RTR Nitro 1/8. There may be more to come in the future as we continue looking at the innovations that different brands bring to the table. At first glance, we notice a near 90% part similarity match between the brands, but each brand's 10% innovation margin is where our interest lie.

@@Crabtronics Great idea! David, I've been learning to skateboard for the past 3 months, as I got skateboard 🛹FOMO, and also needed some cardio badly... 2 fer! I have the Hobao sitting, waiting for a motor, esc, etc... Which I have, but haven't installed... but, to my credit, I can drop in on the 6' ramp, backside kickturn, fakie, slash grind, and ollie so far... whoop! I really do love the Tekno EB48 2.0 Buggy, though... All metric, easy to work on, durable, and fairly priced parts. I also like the screw size callouts in the Tekno manuals without having to look at a key. lol
@@rchopup2639 whoa dude! That’s awesome 😎 I haven’t dropped in on a good ramp in 15 yrs. the guy that owns Nemo Racing USA, the team I race on. Has a skate park next door to his track, “a#1 Air Raceway”. I saw him skating it a while back and it made me wanna buy another complete and hit the park so bad. Maybe I will 🤔. Congrats to your new hobby! Skating is definitely awesome cardio. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for the Hobao 👀 😄
@@Crabtronics Wow, what a small world. So we can credit your friend's ramp complex for giving me FOMO, and getting me into skating. I was watching a Mark Santa Maria video at A#1 Air Raceway, and was like, what, there are skateparks of this caliber?! Then I look further and realize they are everywhere! So, I got several boards, helmet, and pads... pads are essential 'cause I was splatting a lot in noob mode (kida like noob mode at the RC track). Definitely get a board and some pads, it's a ton o fun, and you won't even notice it's exercise 🏋️♀️🛹🩺♥ - I'll make sure to shoot videos of the Hobao... What's the cheapest truggy/buggy out here racing? Any Kyosho or Hobao?
Go on mugen or tekno or others buy and sale groups on fb. And you can come across some incredible deals
You can also find really good deal on some losi 8ight 3.0 or something 👍
