I get motion sickness all the time. Stuck in traffic . stop and go. Winding mountain roads . I didnt know if I was gonna survive this Cruise. But thanks to modern medications it was actually not that bad. I got motion sick just on the second day of the cruise but was fine after I took some meds.
The appetizer are so small and really just 2 bites. We order 2 to 4 appetizer usually to try them all. Most of them were delicious. The mains are bigger and fills you up. I hope you guys enjoy the cruise. We did most of the part minus the sea day motionsickness
I'm not familiar with that gum...but I have to ask why you would want your mouth and tongue to be numb? That doesn't seem to have anything to do with an upset stomach. If you don't want to get sleepy from a motion sickness pill...you need to switch to Bonine (which is the brand name for meclizine). It is a non-drowsy pill and works very well.
The medication in the gum is to numb your inner ear. It works in an instant. It gives you relief for 2 hours. Not a long term solution. Bonine is no longer available in Canada. Meclizine is no longer being manufactured for sale in Canada and is no longer available under any brand names. Our only option is Gravol ( drowsy) . It worked great for us. We only needed it on our first seaday. The rest of the cruise we were fine. We will keep this in mind when we travel to the states or mexico. Have to buy it there.
Interesting that you chose to dress casually on formal night. Try a tuxedo next time. By partway through the cruise, you might just start hearing that the nickname [your name] Bond has started spreading among the staff. ...Not that I'm _necessarily_ speaking from personal experience on a certain 'Discovery Princess' to the Mexican Riviera last December...... >ahem
My checkin luggage never made it to Vancouver. All the essential clothes was packed in the carry on. This is the third time in 4 years Airlines lost my luggage. Thats also why we used the Laundromat so often
