Those high vocal harmonies...berni shaw doing a great job here. Good mixed fast and slow passages, heavy rock at his finest. Song was writen nearly 50 years ago and never gets old. Long live uriah heep
Bernie can't QUITE match Byron on those highest notes, but, this is still pretty dang good! If only they'd ended it with the "ooh ah" on my original album!!! That was the signature!
Extraño a David Byron y a Ken hensley ...versión muy diferente y se sobreactua mr. Bernie ..pero le doy un 80por ciento de calidad a la versión original del grupo principal....larga vida a uriah heep saludos desde León Guanajuato México
Aliens: We come to Earth because we overheard a transmission talking about hard rock. What is this of which you speak? Human: Hands Alien Uriah Heep Album Everyone live happily ever after...roll credits!
There is a variation in the organ that I do not like in the bridge between line and line of the voice, I feel that it takes away the strength of the song.
John Titor Saw them about a month ago in Seattle. I was pleasantly stunned on how good they were. Bernie can't quite catch the very high notes but very good indeed. Have a few vids on utube from that show.
Some dudes are so ignorant. Byron died long time ago, get over and move on. On their limited narrow minds if a lead singer dies, then all bands cannot perform anymore ? Heep had and has excellent line up. Sadly Bolder died too, but I still go to their concerys and new bass guitar is excellent, same as Rusell replacing the drummer.
So if a musician dies then the band has to hang gloves? Thats very limited critical thinking... Please Andrea, rethink before writing.. Oh... Elvis died, John Lennon, Gibbs Brothers Michael Jackson and thousanss more.. Are you gonna stop your life because?????
I always get goosebumps when hearing the intro... Unbelievable great song! 😍 The music of my heart and my soul, for eternity!
Goose bumps are right on!heavy song for the period. Nasty live tune. Breaking the les Paul down!!!

One of the best rock songs ever written. IMHO

I don't enjoy the Bernie-era albums but their concerts live are fucking GREAT and Bernie is an amazing singer, anyone saying otherwise is just deaf.
Así las cosas, la vida continúa, el Rock no se detiene, excelente versión, tenés mi bendición hijo miu!

Unpopular opinion: I really really prefer Bernie's vocals on this one

Then fuck off.
КАКАЯ ТО ПАРОДИЯ НА ХИПОВ,ЛУЧШЕ Байрона,не было,Лоутон тоже хорош, ноБайрон это настоящие Хипы.
NO BYRON NO PARTY...
as much as i like byron, shaw is an excellent frontman and a perfect replacement

sorry Andrea...but the party carries on with or without you...still Living The Dream and rocking in the magic garden...

No le llega ni a los tobillos a la interpretación de David Byron
Nice try.
They are one band that CAN'T reproduce what they play on record on stage. The album sound is so much better.
disagree, Live 72 had versions of their songs that were better than studio, Acoustically Driven also had great live versions.
@@xomthood You are entitled to your opinion and I mine. Cheers
You are probably deaf.
@@ChainsawLuca 🤣🤣🤏
They can't all be Led Zeppelin.
these guys suck
