I have especially enjoyed the bit about women and theology. Right on point!

Same. I am actually way more hungry for theology than my husband, and I feel like I get vibes that that’s not appropriate...sorry but I’m not going to wait for my husband to dig deep with God. I love and respect my husband, and I do submit to him. But God is more important, and I can’t know Him better without digging deep into theology.

Preach it sister! God created Eve to be Adam's helpmeet, not his pupil! women are given the faculty of learning by our Creator too! The desire to learn theology can help us grow close to God and honor our husband.

So important to do work unto the Lord. Are we trying to project perfection? Importance? Special? This resonates so much to those who want it to. Check your heart!

Thank you Jackie and company for blessing my morning today is a rough day for me and the lord blessed me with your podcast I look @ the 3 of you, as leaders not just in the church but helping to lead brothers and sister closer to Christ outside the 4 walls of the church THANK YOU

Jackie hit on a really good point about the church looking at single people, whether straight or gay, as somehow dangerous and a hazard to the body of Christ. As if being married magically, makes a person less dangerous and less tempted than those who are single. Singleness often times is looked at like a plague and most married people in the church will outwardly praise the single person while also looking at them closer and with distrust.

JMJ; bring in singles, older women, widows to join in the conversation. Have you ever thought about doing live, response interactive podcasts?

How or what can I do to study the theology of God? I've been wanting to do this for a long time but I somehow talk myself out of it thinking I'm not smart enough. I honestly don't know how to even begin.
