**FOR ANYONE WITH THE "BOOT FAILED" MESSAGE** - instead of extracting the skate 3 folder into the "roms" folder that you created, extract the game into the preexisting "games" folder found in the emulator folder. - then change the directory (click on "file" and then "add games" and then select the aforementioned "games" folder instead of the "roms" folder and then the emulator should detect the game.
For people like me where this wasn't in depth enough for 1080 to 4k. RPCS3 doesn't do it natively it needs to upscale it. Under Config>GPU>Resolution Scaling.

I have a problem where I downloaded the game correctly and then when it is canning the PPU it all of a sudden goes to a black screen and I get a popup saying the application has likely crashed. Also my computer fits the requirements.

I had this issue, you may have downloaded the xbox port of the game. Make sure its the playstation one you have downloaded. Hope this helps.
