Hello Col, excellent video! Really informative. I'm coming to Premier Fort Sveti Vlas in August and was wondering about how to pay at local restaurants and cafes etc, is cash preffered or has Bulgaria adopted card and phone payments?

Hello Col, excellent video, really informative! Looking for some advice. What would be a sensible budget for spending money for 2 adults and 2 teenagers for a week in Sveti Vlas, assuming we have bed and breakfast booked and will do a bit of sightseeing using public transport? Yes its a bit like "how long is a piece of string" but your insider knowledge would be appreciated. Cheers
It depends on your plans.. Khans tent costs 95 leva person, a meal costs 15-30 leva for a main course, a coffee 5 leva, pint of beer 6 Leva! Maybe check out my others Tours where I show you the prices, it is Free to Subscribe to my Channel @ youtube.com/@travelwithcol4625

Honestly, if you compare the prices of apartments in Sunny Beach and Vlas, you can't say that Vlas is luxurious. And also, small beach right next to docks, apartment up hill from the beach, that many hotels for such a small beach... no, thanks

When i was young and i didn't have enough money to stay in Sunny Beach hotel, i took an accomodation in Vlas. When i was looking for apartment to buy 3 years ago, prices in Sveti Vlas was about 3/4 of equal apts in SB, even most apts in Vlas has sea view. And in these days prices in SB are least doubled. We bought our apartment for €45k, now cheapest apartment in the same hotel is €120k (it's Excelsior hotel). Don't be confused with luxury yachts docked in Vlas. If i was the owner of luxury hotel in Sunny Beach, i would also dock my yacht in Vlas, as there is no option to leave it on Kiki Beach. Generally, i wouldn't compare SB and Vlas. Vlas is the vilage, where people live and work through the year (however it's changed a lot in last few years), while SB was never ment to be city. It was built as Ibiza of the east. There is not even street names (except for Flower Street.
