      If you live in the chess environment long enough your chess vocabulary becomes acessable in an instant. If you saw a sentence in your native language flash up in front of you chances are you would "read" and comprehend it instantly too. 3:08:28 and 3:09:38 WHAT!? You're seriously not aware that you've developed this habit of clicking again after moving a piece? Come on! It's not the mouse! we can clearly see and hear how the mouse clicks normally and how you click emphatically after moving a piece as if to confirm it.

      No, several players do this, not sure why. Maybe the piece is selected and ready to move in a single click when it's their turn again?

      Yeah I’ve seen Magnus do it on his lichess titled area games

    • @user-gc2jx4gj2q
      @user-gc2jx4gj2q 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Only Magnus and Hikaru do it as far as I know. And in case of Magnus he clicks several times which is kind of annoying. I think it is just a habit, and serves no purpose other than being the equivalent of screwing in a piece that some players , most notably Kasparov, tend to do in OTB games.

      @@user-gc2jx4gj2q I've seen a few other players do it (Manneredmonkey on twitch is one). It's weird and kind of "manic" if it serves no purpose.
