Forgotten African American Graveyards of The Cape Fear: McIntyre Family Cemetery

This video was recorded in November 2023 in New Hanover County N.C. New Hanover County is a booming place. The amount of new construction in this area is unreal.
McIntyre Family Cemetery was lost to county records as to where the exact location was. This is one of the many African American burial grounds in Wilmington that sit neglected or uncared for. There are too many lost cemeteries in New Hanover County that have now been developed over or have had highways built through them. Finding McIntyre Family Cemetery has been a mission for me to find for many years. I was fortunate enough to find it on a cold rainy day last year. No photos of the graves had ever been submitted to Findagrave.com until my rediscovery.
