Cool to see Andy Anderson getting the recognition he deserves. I feel like him being in some youtubers videos kinda set him back a bit since skateboarders have this weird beef against youtube.
he skates only the product with his name on it, helmet, goofy tricks no one takes seriously, and FREESTYLE on top of all that. hopefully that can help u understand why some people find it wack. skating has some unspoken rules and really im not a fan but im not against it either, im just trying to tell you why people dont like stuff like this, even his own team.
@@evanjolley1279 Thats just silly to me. He is better than any of his teammates or 99% of the pros. Yes he does wacky stuff but you know who else did wacky stuff? Rodney fucking Mullen.
I got four Zoo York OG Tag decks siting right here. 8 inch. I can feel these guys pain with all these different trucks and shapes and sizes. Too stressfull, when you get a good set up you'll know it. I figured out what works for me years ago.
Roger you need the flattest nose you can get but longer. This will actually allow more leverage for the trick, while keeping your body level to make the transfer over the curb. Having it steeper will cause your body to be leaned over too far to balance out during the transfer. #getrogeroverthecurb
I want an analysis on the a Tom Asta deck it had a funny feel to it. It had a tapered nose and tail but took no time getting used to it and skates great.
I feel the skateboard can only do so much and there becomes a point where it's on you. You give 10 people the same board and ask them to do the same trick, some can, some cant.
@@andtothewestamerica that’s weird because I went from 8.0 to 8.5, once I got used to the bigger board I didn’t even notice the size or weight of the board anymore
Ill bet they get backing from Powell in some way. Rog loves the Anderson deck it is good. Some flow boards. Wheels. It would only make sense. Not a bad thing but like little Powell ads snuck into conversation.
We need a clip of Rodger landing the front nose!
Paul Schmidt is the skateboarding equivalent of the bloke who hands out wands on Harry Potter
Mr. Olivander
Lmao he said the bloke

That’s slowly fading away. Look at Chris Chann, John Hill and Dale Decker

@@emericaskater001 lol kinda sleeper content, Chris chann will whip together a video of his day with no skating
His board looks really good - not a fan of the graphics but the shape and size looks awesome for versatility.
It's so crazy I'm from Salem Massachusetts and I used to see Roger at something else skate shop now I watch him on TH-cam
It would be great if they did a breakdown of Nyjah's board or Shanes board for the olympic
I was thinking the same thing. That'd be really interesting
Well obviously Nyjah's board was off...

Inspiring ideas! Cheers guys!
Anyone possibly know of an equivalent "Paul Schmidt in BMX?

Was that a Santa Cruze board with like a space tiger on the graphic?
@@amberruby4896 No it was the Owl graphic.
@@faithbyworks8182 ahhh I had the panther / tiger one in 8:25, was one of the best boards I ever had. Found it in the cheap box too !
What do you mean by tapered ?
I'm surprized they don't pick Kellys brain on here, have you guys even seen him skate? Dudes nasty
did they get into body / shoe size and weight of the individual in the longer segment...??
I don’t get why people think your board set up matters THAT much. I have no problem doing tres impossibles nollie heels on a 8.79
I do a lot of double flips and 8.25 is as big as I'll go
8.5 all day
I always wondered what was his name.

idk, tried to go from a 8.38 to 8.5 and lost so many flip tricks, like I just never got them back until I switched again

My Pillow Man Concept , My boards from Tijuana .Roger is Like the carbon Fiber , Paul said No the Cheap Fiberglass .
Hell yeah

First! Lol hows everyone doing?
Nerds. I love it
