"Dunning-Kruger Effect"-- ...A type of cognitive bias, where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they don't have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.
Remember that there's also the other half of the effect, where people who are hypercompetent don't realise just how much better they are than average, so they believe that tasks that are actually beyond an average person can't be that difficult, surely. Essentially everyone believes they're closer to the average than what they really are, some people from below and some from above. People below the average are like "I'm gonna build a house extension on my own, how hard can it be," and people above the average are like "and then simply draw the rest of the owl."
The trash can is Oscar’s home, and if you watched “Elmo in grouchland” he has a lot of stuff in his “small” trash can, including a bed, a bathroom, a tv, a fridge and other things
And homeless make their homes in large boxes, under sheeting, in tents, under wood scraps collecting materials to make a bed, sometimes with butane fueled lanterns and hot plates. I guess they’re not homeless, either.
11:33 "The existence of lead as an element disproves the 4,000 year old myth" Uhh... I'm not sure who is supposed to be the dumbo here, but in this exchange both of them were equally wrong. I'm going to venture to suggest this and possibly many many other posts in this video were deliberate trolls.
No, the explanation is good, but it's way too technical and relying on advanced physics. Not only radioactive decay, but nucleosynthesis: the fact that the existence of lead proves the Earth is old relies in the fact stars only create elements up to iron, then they create a lot of heavier-than-lead elements as they go nova and explode, so the only way to have lead is waiting for those heavy isotopes to decay into lead. In any case, the answer of a believer will always be "the Earth was already created with animals, plants and minerals just like the ones we have today".
I once had a colleague tell me their Nutella On the Go snack didn’t violate office ‘no nut products’ policy bc Nutella is made from almonds…then he self corrected to say it contains hazelnuts…I had to walk away so I didn’t lose it entirely
Yeah, this was the most hilarious list I've seen. Absolutely. I like what happens when people get to talk to each other in a preserved format. Tho surely it can be embaressing sometimes, when one gets the mistakes they have made.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect." Or, as the rest of the world calls it, American.

Hysterical - these are likely some of “undecideds” who at the last minute used their best critical thinking to vote for Trump
So true!
Spot on!
Trumpty the clown does love the uneducated.
11:47 My only argument here is people who reject science can't change their minds due to losing theirs long ago.
Good one, Bhagwan!
I honestly lost count of many times my brain exploded on so many levels reading all of these. Like..... WOW, just WOW!

I enjoyed it. Makes me wish that people would pay attention in school. 😊
This one was sooo goood.
2:18 Love MDJ! A truly educational channel that makes you feel like you're having a chat with your bestie!
9:25 It's probably for the better that the girl didn't enroll in that school. She would grow up confused and wonder why her parent could be so dumb.
That would be a good thing.
That was great, thank you!
The village are looking for their idiot again!
❤❤❤. Was having a bad day in this made it all better!
"she's doing that R KElly math" just killed me

1:53 - This is why I frequently don't tell people I'm vegan.
Just proves ignorance and stupidity are alive and well in AmeriKa 2024-5😮
Is there an entire video/list of Explaining Words to Kevin Sorbo?
People don't seem to get that Three Year Letterman is a joke account where his being stupid and antagonistic is the joke.
that 'three year letterman' appeared twice though - I think he's a troll
I always wonder if these are serious or just trolling...

Rubbish - dont waste your time
Meh. This one wasn't as good.
