Thank you for your great advice as always. I already have a Pinterest account but don't really use it for my books yet. I agree with branding our books and yes a course would help as I really need to learn about branding because I'm an Art Student trying to sell my work too. Learning how to do branding correctly is an important all round business skill to have 🙂
I have published two low contents books and one ebook. Today I was uploading one more low content book, but there is a little bit mistake. Now I'll upload on tomorrow. Last year I have published two ebooks and one paperback, but at that time I was in learning stage. Now I am better than last year, but still learning and I love Amazom, they help a lot.

A question- another youtuber said in her video that if you are selling colorong books for adults/ kids and puzzles for eg, you should keep them apart so its good to make a separate account for each of those catergorys, but that seems like way too much work

Wow, you're making great progress, well done! You can make log books 6 x 9 or any size that you prefer. Some people like bigger sizes but others prefer pocket sized books. I would look at what others are producing in your niche and then decide. Really happy you're getting stuck in, you can be proud of yourself!
There are so many... go to new plugins, and then type in 'Pinterest' and see which ones come up. Usually social media plugins should have a pinterest button too. Notebooks have a lot of competition, you would need to niche them down. This is where you have to do your niche research, but yes, notebooks still sell. But I would say it's easier to sell other types of books like planners or log books.
No, Pinterest is not a social media platform where you need followers to be seen. Think of Pinterest as a search engine. People go on Pinterest to get ideas, so you don't need any followers, they will find you through keywords.

I'm not sure I understand your question correctly. Are you asking how to post your book pages on social media? You can get the url link from your page and then copy paste it on your social media post. My apologies if this is not what you meant.

@@dr.barrynadel6368 Thank you for clarifying. I think Amazon have changed their sales page and they are not showing social media links anymore. So now you can manually copy paste your book page url and share on your social media. Maybe I should make another video around that.
Besides marketing books on Pinterest, are you using any free Google merchant tools for your low content books to be more discoverable & increase sales?
@@TheHomeBoss Yes, it's very easy to market your low content books or whatever business you may have on any social media platform. Social media is nothing new. But Google is king! Google has a plethora of tools to market your products.
It's effective for driving traffic to any website, that includes our books on Amazon. But of course the books have to be also good quality and appealing to buyers. I found it very effective.

I was configuring pins manually which was very time consuming. One question. Do you know if by pinning using the product page symbol adds my affiliate link as well?
I don't think it adds your affiliate link Angus, as it will add the link in the top address bar and that's probably just the link to your product page. You can however add it manually. Unfortunately this is just a really quick way of doing it, manually is much better if you want to do it more effectively. You can do both though so that you can get even more exposure. @@JuanFlores-rx3pi There is really no right or wrong answer. They recommend that you post as many as you can, different pins for the same item. And everybody will have different results so it's really all about trying different things. I try to post at least 5 pins for each book.
Can I just tell you how much you have helped me with this (actually ALL of yours) video? Your timing of the release of this was impeccable! I have brushed off Pinterest for years because, and this is embarrassing, I could never get my head wrapped around what it was! LOL! I used to make handcrafted soaps and lotions and my friends always said, "you need to post this on Pinterest!". I DO have a Pinterest account and have had for a few years but have never posted to it. NOW you have explained why it is a good place to put your covers with a link - I get it! It took years, but the light bulb finally went on, LOL! Now I will say I have gotten lost on Pinterest and gone down some rabbit holes never to be seen again, but now I get it. One of my weakest points for my KDP (and my previous) business is my ability to keep up with my social media accounts. I have a site and have for many months but have not uploaded all of my book links (shame on me!). I have an Instagram account under my publishing company name too, have only posted about 10 out of 100 books. So, yes, a course on how to get the maximum results with moderate effort and low dollars would be wonderful! Thank you so much, I really love your content and you are a good teacher! 😉👍💖

You don't need to change the keywords if your titles and subtitles are good. But you can go into the pin in Pinterest and change them if you like.

Not directly. I am building a brand though (i.e. website, facebook page, twitter, etc.) so it's really more about social media marketing.

I don't know if I get sales but I am getting a lot more traffic to my books. I recommend using pinterest.
