FYI I love your video and followed it for my intake manifold replacement but I also followed the 160 inch lb intake manifold bolt torque recommendation and definitely snapped the bolt in my head....... after that I tried researching and it seems 100 in lbs is the factory specs. Have to figure out how to extract this
You'll need an aftermarket tune and VMP style harness to run the IMRCs if it's naturally aspirated.....If your coyote is super charged just lockout the IMRCs on the OEM 15-17 intake......These intakes are expensive......I did the complete swap on a 2016 GT ....The best setup naturally aspirated is the GT 350 87mm throttle body with a GT 350 manifold.....If you intend on running a larger throttle body most likely you will need an adapter spacer and if it's an 18+ manifold GT intake you will have a problem with hood clearance.....The GT 350 manifold is angled like the 15-17 OEM GT manifolds that's why I recommend doing all the homework first.....It is definitely worth the price if you do the work yourself......If anyone is pulling a 15-17 manifold off they are making a serious mistake re-installing that intake.....It's a POS and the IMRCs will give you constant issues sticking.....If the flaps don't break up
that problem only happens in idle? because my mustang gt shakes the engine a little when it is stopped. the car does not register any fault, it does not light any warning light. which problem could be?
Anytime you pull the intake off a coyote it's a good idea to do a crank relearn....It's not hard but you must do the relearn with "as built" data then load whatever tune you plan on running.....
i am also getting the code, but when i opened up the intake mani the runners all close and open fine, i have cold air intake and headers i dont know what it could be, maybe i need a better tune
does it happen under load, if it does could be coils/plugs. If its not under load even though the imrcs function fine, i think they are controlled by solenoids so those could go bad which would cause it to not open and close when engine is running
1st I vacuumed up all of the dirt and derbies then I used carb cleaner to clean off the intake ports for a clean mating surface for the new intake manifold
I really do wish you would have not fast forwarded the video something that you're doing right there should be a regular video it don't really matter if someone doesn't really want to watch the f****** video they can fast forward it themselves lol
Time saver tip, you can unplug the relay for the pump in the fuse box
Great showing thanks! Yeah us car guy's definitely don’t mind watching the whole thing but thanks again!

Oooh sorry you broke a bolt
Did u replace it with the 15 - 17 manifold or the 18? I want to get the better flowing 18 manifold but i think you need extra stuff to do the install

which problem could be?
I had a check engine light misfire at idle and cruse
i would pull the spark plugs and check them for fouling and replace the plug and coil. Just to note I would only use Motorcraft parts fords are picky
mine gives the code and has a rough idle. i have cold air intake and longtube headers
Do you need to re-tune or do any kind of crank relearn after install? Or just plug and play?
All you have to do is clear codes
Plug and play
Plug and play

Hey bro thanks a lot for this video!! Could you tell me the link about the correct lbs to put the manifold screws ?? Plz
You have to look it up be careful it is inch lbs

Did the misfire only occur at WOT?
I had the same problem with my 16gt
What did you use to clean the top of the cylinders?
1st I vacuumed up all of the dirt and derbies then I used carb cleaner to clean off the intake ports for a clean mating surface for the new intake manifold
could you have just done a crank relearn on a tuner and solve the check engine light?
No the problem was the broken part
Matthew Bisher mmm well it worked for me 🤷🏻♂️
Thats great in my case I had a broken manifold
Hi just wondering what year is your mustang?
2015
2015
I'm having the same problem where do you live at I'll bring my car to you and just pay you
You can email me at 1020matt@gmail.com

Sorry hope all is well
What did you use to clean the top of your cylinders?
I cleaned the injetors with carb clean and the intake ports with carb clean
Carb Cleaner
