This is the best cast imo. The way they grow together and bond is really unique and feels incredibly genuine and realistic. And the good thing about Aigis is she's a very important character, so you'll get to learn a lot about her!
The persona 3 cast is the only group (not counting P1-2, tho I think P1 counts as a group of friends who still remain friends even after high school and college which is super rare. And p2 is a bit of a special case) that feels like a found family. P4’s cast feels like friends brought together just by the fact it’s a small town and exist within the same vicinity, and P5 feels like trauma bonding.

One thing that makes P3 party members standout from the other series is that their character growth happens throughout the story, not only on their social link event or even their interaction with the protagonist. That what makes them shines more as an individual. That is also the reason why the developer of the original game decides to implement the "not fully controlled in battle" mechanic.

The interesting thing about the Persona users, why they fight, the reason for awakening to their power, and why they fight shadows is not cohesive. Unlike P5 where everything is linked, for P3 it's unrelated. Why they have the power is one thing, why they fight is another, and they are friends another... and then everything converges as the characters and relationships develop and the plot moves onward. It feels more like an odd collection of people band together solely because they are persona users and nothing else... only for them to end up as best friends and having a common mission, goal, and reasons to fight. Truly inspiring.

They come together due to bonding over individual trauma, and finding that point of similarity. In P3, they aren’t fully in control. The group isn’t made by the mc, they join it. These guys sort of exist as coworkers that come together as a family over shared traumatic circumstances. It’s interesting cuz P5’s themes are about standing up against powerful people, and taking back control over a situation. Hence the team is controlled by the mc. P3’s themes are about our lack of control of life, and making do with the little control we have. The group have their own lives and will call the mc, unlike P5. Hence why the team isn’t headed by the mc, unless reload decides to retract the autonomy of the rest of the cast with rewrites.

Okay, there's a LOT to unpack with these character trailers, and to be frank with many of them you're gonna end up with lots of spoilers, so it's really best to experience them in the game for yourself. However, for specifically Aigis (I think it's pronounced I-gihs, not E-jihs), if you really want to know about her, then Persona 4 Arena will make it clear (although it'll hit even harder once you've played P3). I won't say anymore, but trust me when I say... it's not a pretty picture being painted here.
You think you can see the dynamics of the group members from these trailers, but you're gonna be real surprised. Some of this is misleading, a lot is absent. Can confirm that P3 has the strongest cast of characters out of the newer gen persona games though.

i love the p3 cast the most because they argue, they banter, they even fight sometimes those makes the cast feel more real... no shade on other casts but sometimes they can feel a little bit too much of some yes mens
P3 with all its flaws to me its the best game in the series.

Okay, there's a LOT to unpack with these character trailers, and to be frank with many of them you're gonna end up with lots of spoilers, so it's really best to experience them in the game for yourself.
However, for specifically Aigis (I think it's pronounced I-gihs, not E-jihs), if you really want to know about her, then Persona 4 Arena will make it clear (although it'll hit even harder once you've played P3). I won't say anymore, but trust me when I say... it's not a pretty picture being painted here.

You think you can see the dynamics of the group members from these trailers, but you're gonna be real surprised. Some of this is misleading, a lot is absent.
Can confirm that P3 has the strongest cast of characters out of the newer gen persona games though.

This is why I’ve had to skip over a ton of comments though, I can tell some people are trying to give me WAY too much context so being as careful as possible
