My reasoning there was averaging how both would do on each side of a cat and mouse. While L is very strong as the Cat he isn’t as a mouse. On the other side, Ayanokouji is very strong in both positions.
I have Koji taking VCI comfortably, a lot of L's arguments for VCI come from CTW, which is sadly not canon. Canon L loses VCI, while CTW L can take it.
