    Maybe Agent had good parents but as someone who works with at-risk youth, I have to admit that many children are dropped into this world with no guidance and they DO cling to artists. They are looking for someone to guide them and they listen to the messages preached to them through the music.

      @vklkg5486 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Yea unfortunately a lot of children don’t have a strong foundation for a sense of self. Some people literally need guidance somehow and it’s nothing wrong with that. But they have to direct that towards something positive. Not idolizing ignorance.

      @@taos6960 stop being slow. i grew up in NYC and this is not a big issue at all. people that are going to get involved with gangs and drill have already lived around it, listening to music isn't what makes them do it, yall sound stupid af. People rap about what they do for the most part that's how this started. i know most of the people in my neighborhood and the ones that joined gangs had family members already had people affiliated.

    J COLE WAS THE EXACT SAME IM HIS YOUNGER RAPPER/R&B STAGE he was all flash and would flaunt a lot, he even admits it in a interview and then he started to realize money wasn’t everything later and decided to rap about life and the problems. if anyone raps about METH OR HERION it will never be cool no matter how good the song is because we all know the dangers and how it ACTUALLY RUINS life’s cause we see it on the streets on a daily basis with some of the homeless ppl talking too themself and geeking out SO I DONT THINK IT WILL EVER BE COOL EVEN IF THEY RAP ABOUT IT

    I think it depends on the artist some are Cap rappers and some aren't and actually do what they rap about or have done those things in the past. Just depends on whether u like to listen to the ones who Lie till they make it or the ones actually raping from real pain or life but. An the kid wasn't an adult when they get influenced bro by music they literally said when they where 13 years old there mind is developed yet and are easily persuaded to do things that are bad. An this isn't just about drugs look at the drill scene and how much it influenced young kids even more to do criminal shit.
