So if you only have $1000 credit limit starting out and you pay your car payment & phone bill for $500 then what they see when they check is that lil bro's regularly using 50% of the money he has access to... seems irresponsible af because you're always a little too close to having it maxxed out. Also some credit cards that have yearly fees are actually worth it for the rewards/cashback if your situation is ideal for it. Like if you're in a situation where you spend a lot of money on travel, some cards will give more cashback for travel purchases so it might work out in your favor if you do the math.
