Thank you for this comprehensive explanation of "golden thread" idea - my professor just mentioned it, without further revealing. Now you clarified things perfectly 👍
Thank you for your help GradCoach! One thing I wanted to note was at @17.10 your research question is actually an objective and I think it was mixed up, let me know what you think
Could u guys help to explain more in Misalignment (Qual)? At the 2nd issue “perception vs experiences”, why is it “perception” in the RQ “How do managers influence digital transformation?” ? (It made me confused when seeing the 3nd issue which is “influence outcome vs employee experiences”)
Thank you so much for your amazing work. A lot of things are clearer to me now. So then what is the research problem/ statement, is that the same as the aim. Please provide clarity on this
This is really helpful. Could you do a video on research questions in the humanities specifically (English, modern languages, history, etc.) I feel like a lot of these videos are useful but not closley related at all to what I'm researching. If someone was doing a PhD in literature, what might a viable research question look like?
Thanks for the suggestion, Shawna. Our expertises lays primarily within the social sciences (as opposed to humanities), but we're always looking to expand.
I am reading a research paper namely "Electric Energy consumption Prediction of a Small/Medium business: A Machine Learning Approach" and it discusses the efficiency of several ML models to predict the same using feature engineering. How can I frame the correct research question to this paper. Is it (1) How efficient is Machine learning in predicting Electric Energy consumption in Small/Medium business ? or (2) What is the impact of number of Workstations and lights/ environmental factors in Small/Medium business ?
Both (1) and (2) can be potential research questions. However, the research question you choose will depend on your research interests and the specific focus you want to explore.
My topic is "curriculum for primary school: a case study early grade mathematics assessment grade 1,2 and 3. May u make a research questions for me. It stuck for me
Typically, research aims, objectives and questions are required for all types of academic research, so I can't see any harm in using it in a research paper. Worst case, it may be slight overkill for a simpler project.

@@GradCoach Thanks a lot for your reply.
This has been extremely helpful and are hypotheses statements also needed in qualitative research?

Amazing. A little louder voice would not have hurt.
Thanks!
Great....

How many aims/objectives and research questions is good to have in research?
