When I was a kid (back in the 70s lol) it was called Silver Dollar City and was my favorite place! There was a shop that made homemade candles in the shape of ice cream cones, sundaes, etc and I would always bring home one or two. Also there was a glass blowing shop that was amazing! We vacationed in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg every year. So much fun!! :D
As a kid in the 70’s we went to Silver Dollar City but was near Branson Missouri. We loved it!
I had the honor of working at Dollywood for many years, & I loved it!! I worked at the Celebrity Theater, & I loved every minute of it. I love my home of the Great Smoky Mountains, & I love watching your shows!!

Fun fun fun place. My Dad was born and raised in Tennessee in the PF area, he moved to NC at 16 and met my Mom. We spent half our childhood in TN, love that area, feels like home! I live close to Dollywood in Knoxville. We don’t go often but Christmas is definitely my favorite time to go. We do go to the mountains quite a bit. It was smokey even down this way due to the fires.

Yes, we had the wild fire close to home here on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. So scary.

Live in Roanoke, Va,., in the Blueridge Mountains, used to live on Smith Mountain Lake.
So envious. I tell you from the bottom of my heart see what you can travel as much as you can. Stupidly we worked none stop to retire and we have but our bodies can’t do the walking or the standing in line. So much I wanted to see. And I won’t now.

We have a 337 RLS and have the same problems with our sink covers. We just place a kitchen towel between the covers and they seem to stay put on travel day. The screws have also come out from the bottom of our couch 😮.
Hello Bunkeys! I usually watch on TV & don’t comment. However, I wanted to send a sincere Thank You for this video. My mom, aunt, best friend & I used to go to Pigeon Forge Christmas shopping every year and then to Dollywood. My aunt and mom have made their way to heaven and I haven’t been to Dollywood in years. Smoky Mtn Christmas was my mom’s fav show and she cried every time. Thank you sooo much for sharing! Love watching you guys! Btw, our little dog is Daisy Mae also. ❤️😊🎄 Merry Christmas!
Our couch use to move it was only screwed in with a couple of spots! I never use the sink covers. Also the vent thingy fall every time we travel! We just threw it in a drawer
My adverse travel day from a to b is about 15 hours. Yours seems dreamy in comparison. I so love the Smokey mountains. We have forest fires every year. It is sad to see and not enjoyable to be kept in to get away from the smells of smoke.
If you loved Dollywood you will probably really like Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. SDC is a beautiful park with great rides, shows and food. The city of Branson is filled with theatrical presentations, restaurants and hotels. You’d have a great time!
Looks like y'all had so much fun.little trick we learned when we stored our camper we use to take a metal pie pan put charcoal in it and put in floor helps keep mildew from getting in the camper put to in it one in bedroom near bathroom and one in kitchen.
I finally got to go to Dollywood last year. I can smell the bread all over again. Go right before close no line that's what we did 😂. The pretzels are awesome their butterflies. We went at the end of September so we had Halloween decorations.
Loved watching, has been years since we were there. Loved it, we rented a cabin took our dogs, and even saw a bear near the cabin.
Dolly got married in Ringgold Ga. A lot of people used to go to Ringgold to get married.
We have family that live very close to Dollywood. It’s a nice park.

Went two years ago before we moved to Kentucky. It is decorated so nice. But it was cold that day. Want to go back.

Dolly Wood is s pure play ground. We have been tickets holders for 20 years. I was always a Gold season pass holder and my husband and 3 children were regular. I would ride anything in the park except the thunderhead i rode it once and it put me down in my back the jurk was to much. Anyway my husband and i say Dolly Wood is were we want to go after retirement and work just because lol. We haven't been to Dollywood in 2years. Thanks for the trip today.
