It went in so easily and quick wow!! I had my conch pierced today and I guess I have a really thick conch lol...the piercer was great but it took her two pushes to get the needle through hahah
@@ashleyjudithh I neve got an industrial, but my conch really hurt. That being said, it's not the kind of pain that goes on for days, so you'll be fine! I'll probably get my other conch done when the first one heals so that I won't have as much trouble sleeping on it.

Loved this video. I got a “outer conch” piercing and it was quite painful. Putting in the jewellery was probably the most painful part. I just have to deal with the piercing bumps now, which is just annoying. Sleeping on a travel pillow really helps tho
@@skaa.2871I just take a q-tip and wet it with wound cleanser (saline) and put a drop of tea tree oil and wipe around the piercing with that. No need to wash it off. Tea tree has antibacterial and antifungal properties. I do that twice. I wouldn’t put it on when it’s FRESH like a couple days old, but only after you see a bump which usually forms after a couple weeks. Just use saline rinses and soaks on fresh piercings. When you do use tea tree oil, you literally just need a drop because it’s so strong. It’ll basically shrink and dry your bump and then it’s gone.

I just came across your channel when I was doing research on getting this piercing and I love your videos. I just got mine done a few days and it’s been a long time since I’ve had a piercing so I was curious on how long this area will stay tender after getting it pierced?
Is there a specific name for the kind of jewelry you put in this piercing? I have trouble finding jewelry for some of my piercings because aside from barbell Idk what any of the names are.
Diedre Sideris it’s a barbell for this one. They can be straight or curved. There’s captured bead which is a hoop with a bead. Hoops. There’s labret jewlery but idrk what that one is yet. And there’s post jewelry which is flat on one end & then has the little star or moon or stud or ball on the other end
Hey there! Thanks so much for your videos! Would you mind talking a little bit about the gauge? My conch ring is 14g (pierced years ago, it's all healed), but I was wondering if it's okay to downsize to 16g? just because there are more designs and options available in 16g than 14g, but I don't know if there are any safety reasons concerning the gauge for a conch piercing. Have a good one!
Your conch piercing is so nice 😊😊😊 i just got mine, i got tragus, conch and flat all on same day. I read online that they hurt badly but some how im lucky i didnt feel pain so im happy. I found what hurt was them tightening the jewelry after but I didn't feel anything for the actual piercing which was unexpected 😊😱
I have a history of having really thick cartilage that can get painful to pierce lol. My daith and helix took a lot of force and the daith took longer to pierce due to location and cartilage thickness
Thanks I did mine a few weeks ago and forgot about the aftercare the piercer told me. Anyway I'll be giving him a visit these days for him to check it if everything is ok.
Two questions: Piercing with a bar vs hoop doesn’t make a difference? Because I thought it was more dangerous for the healing to pierce with a hoop. And is there a limit on how many piercings a person should get at once? I’ve been under the impression that multiple piercings healing at the same time will slow the process and create more risk.
Actually believe it or not is better to get pierced with a hoop. Then with a stud. It's easier to maintain and clean because you could spin the hoop all the way around. And I wouldn't recommend any more than two piercings on the ear at one time.
@@ShawnPierceMasterPiercer spinning the hoop around will cause the piercing to get irritated and form irritation bumps, this will also slow down the healing process. yeah it's easier to maintain a piercing with a hoop, but not when it's freshly pierced, plus the piercing will heal 'unevenly'. Just my personal experience, in cartilage piercings, I have to get bars. Every cartilage piercing I’ve had with a hoop has gotten a bump that went away as soon as I put a bar in it. Call a different piercer and speak to the doctor
@@justanothersoul181 well it randomly disappeared actually, after I had a discussion with them🤣🤣 I got pretty upset these were definitely not cheap😩
@@almareyes2192 mines all swollen and so painful I’m desperate for it to heal
@@justanothersoul181 yo I wish you the best on that cause it's such a pain in the ass😩 how long has it been since you got them?? Also did they give you any aftercare?? Cause I've been just using my aftercare and somehow it just started falling off, now it's fine. Have you tried also any other homecare or salt water solution that people post on TH-cam? Maybe that could also help, it could definitely be different for everyone🤔 but I hope you find the way to get that off❤❤
@@almareyes2192 I got it pierced on Monday the 14th and they never gave no aftercare I’ve seen TH-cam videos and bought sterile saline and taking ibuprofen just hoping for the best now these sleepless nights are killing me
