This is so amazing to watch and observe. I love the fact you get into the design to see the perspective of the pilot. Awesome stuff man

So this is part two of the Mech Cockpit series. We were asked to build a similar design for Logitech with with their new VRInk Pen recently. Take a look if you like new VR tech www.linkedin.com/posts/southerngfx_vr-vrink-vrdesign-ugcPost-6707852548923002880-zEcW

Amazing workflow, thank you so much for putting it up there for other beginner artists to see. This really helped. Thanks again 🙏🤗

I like the volume brush very much as well.. very simple to quickly create a rough idea stuff.

You probably already figured this out, since this video is a couple years old, but the green points you’ve been messing with to manipulate the mannequin are IK controls, if you swipe the joystick you’ll get simple rotation control points that are easier for moving the legs without having them turn at weird angles.

Cheers Greg. Thanks for the info and I’ll pin it as it will be helpful for new users.

Great video! Too much panning around though.

Is there a way to re orient a piece of geo back onto a axis so like if I had a plane and I wanted to make it back on a flat 90 degree angle?

There isn't a way yet to get an object snapped back on a plane if you have moved it. I'll find out if it's a planned feature. I would usually lock layers for things like floor planes and walls. There are some grid snapping options but if you have already rotated or moved off the axis I'm not aware that you can get it back.

@@SouthernGFX thanks for the tip would also be nice if we could have a rotating transpose method in a specific axis like we do with the movement method
