One of my favorite movies ever. It spoke so much to me. I was a child in Inglewood in the 80's, to the point where I went to the very school where Trey hit the other kid with the stick and told everyone they were from Africa, Woodworth Elementary. One of the best movies ever.
When you watched this masterpiece when you were younger, your just entertained, but when you get older you gotta rewatch it to pick up all the messages and black excellence💯🙏🏽 Salute
I had pepped that especially when I first saw this as a kid cause when they was at the street races scene Ferris and them other dudes was bloods and obviously everybody that was with Doughboy were crips but I didnt know what set until I rewatched it and saw that Mariners hat and put two and two together
Ich hat happens when a young filmmaker has a real vision. A vision that isn’t distracted by trends and social media and constant feedback from an anonymous blablabla online audience. 90s r never coming back. But a few fantastic movies stay with us
