Long rant about why people should be getting zd toys figures. Still surprising that this toy line of Ironman aren’t that popular as would be hasbro or hot toys etc. no u may not get as much articulations as a hasbro or the diecast etc with a hot toys, though threezero is like a mini hot toys with diecast and looks. But still a zd toys iron has the look of a hot toys or threezero and looks way better then any Ironman hasbro figure at moment, and u still get decent articulations, say on par with a McFarland dc figure. And the best thing about a zd toys Ironman beside how well it looks and still able to articulate it into beautiful poses is the price. At hasbro pricing today u may spend between $10 to $30 more depending we’re get it, a sale, or which figure and all it comes with etc.. then if you look at threezero and zd toys, yes I love my threezero Ironman but your paying $60 more for that diecast and little more articulation but the looks are just as good on both brands. And hot toys being hundreds and hundreds of $ more then a zd toys plus it’s at 1/6 scale. Now yes a zd toys may be little bigger then a reg. 6 inch figure line but I look at it as tony is in a Ironman suit so he should be bigger then a normal 6” figure person without armor like this on. And all this ranting is just some the reasons why think zd toys are a better deal then hasbro, threezero, or hot toys. You still get that nice quality paint would get from a hot toys & threezero Ironman with that red and gold they use and the articulations may not be as good as a hasbro but you still can pose the heck out of it and it looks way better cause the paint job and details then the hasbro just using basic plastic with as little paint as possible. So yes zd toys def should be a lot more popular rt now. I been wanting to get the zd toys Ironman gantry. That looks amazing. Got it rt. Now on AliExpress for $99 today Jan 12 2023. Normally $149. Shame I can’t get it rt. Now do to other issues but I do plan on getting that one day.
The price difference between ZDT & ThreeZero is a bit to deal with (I’ve got a few of those as well), but remember you’re paying for the diecast AND the light up feature. Whereas the ZDT (depending on which you buy) can be cheaper still in price imo because of the lack of diecast. In no way do I consider them any less awesome than ThreeZero’s because they have everything that you brought up. Ok poseablity, fantastic paint job, and a cool light up feature abd approach (using rechargeable vs replaceable batteries) for that scale. If you do decide to, I suggest buying the gantry as it’s pretty cool. Only wish the Mk4 that came with it was the light up one, but that’s ok that’s still out there for sale if you’re in the market.
I love how these figures are affordable,but come with great accessories and figures,the paint is amazing,and the sculpt is clean and ridiculous imo.These things look higher quality then their price is tbh,and I love it.Currently have the mark 50,and he’s awesome
These figures show what marvel legends could be.....should be ! I was amazed how good they are right from the start there like little hot toys. They are making a couple more ironman related and a spider-man !!

i'm having a dilemma, can't decide between these or splashing out a bit more on the threezero ones, ive just bought some iron studios and kotobukiya 'statues' so i guess im spending threezero level money now lol, but just can't decide, decisions decisions. ive heard threezero are a smaller scale, 1/12, but are more like a 1/10 scale? which is the scale im trying to stick to.
These are great figures for the price the detailing and design is up there with some of the more expensive figures on the market. I would definitely say try one and see what you think
As an owner of both ZD and ThreeZero I have to say that, in my opinion, spending extra for ThreeZero is worth it. They feel much higher quality in hand. Not saying, ZD are bad at all but between the two, the parts, paint, and especially the stands are better quality with ThreeZero. The do both scale well together however so it’s easy to display them together. But you can’t argue the ZD price point.
Nice review, however the Mk 6 makes it debut in Iron Man 2 where Tony figures out [based on the model of the original Stark Expo] model that a new element could be created and thus a solution to his palladium poisoning dilemma. So the order you should have shown the second set in would be: Mark 4 [when he jumps out of the plane in the beginning of the movie], Mk 5 at the Grand Prix, then War Machine and Mark 6. Otherwise great review I own a bunch of them myself.
If you still read comments from this video then I wanted to let you know that the light up versions of these don't use batteries that are actually chargeable you plug the plug into the wall then there a little button you press and it lights up and it looks really good just so then you consider buying the light up ones
The light up ones use rechargeable batteries, so you don't have to leave them plugged into a wall outlet in order to use the light up feature. Just charge them up and then enjoy.
These are all great figures. I have to say, the mark 5 (or suitcase suit) is a personal favourite of mine because it reminds me of the silver centurion armour back in the 80s & that was when I started collecting the Iron Man comics. Great close up shots of all the wonderful detail on them. Some of the best Iron Man figures I've seen.I really enjoy these comparison videos. Another excellent review. Cheers. 👍

All these ironman figures still look as good as the day I got them. I have my figures in a room with no direct sunlight. Bright light isn't good for figures

Yep and the zd's body proportion are better than threezero imo
The articulation on these figures is absolutely not on par with McFarlane DC multiverse. Not even close.

I bought the mark 42. It looked very unique to me. My favourite armours are between the mark 6 and 43. The mark 6 looks cool with the triangle.
I think the mark 6 is one of my favorites.......to be honest I like them all for different reasons 👍
the lightup figures are actually charged via USB-C cables.

they should be using the same parts on the mk2 and mk3 because the mk3 is supposed to be mk2 but painted and without bolts lol.
