- Unpopular opinion: In-N-Out is overrated. It's good, but it's not THAT good. Especially not "fly across the country from Boston to LA and back within 24 hours" good. Which is exactly what I did. We don't have an In-N-Out anywhere near New England, so I had to make the trip.
Apologies on message up the buns. It happens. Perhaps it was too cold. Perhaps it was bad yeast. Or, maybe I just measured incorrectly. Ingredient list is below and should work perfectly if you have proper yeast and a warm room to rest.
Buns:
2 tbsp active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups flour
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp water
Animal Sauce
1/2 cup mayo
3 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp relish
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp vinegar
1 tbsp caramelized onions

If you ever go again, make sure you order the burger "animal style". They just add some caramelized onions and special sauce. That's the only way I order it now. It's actually frickin amazing

Three years ago today I had my last In-N-Out Burger, I was visiting Arizona and I live in the East Coast and watching this video only fueled my craving! 😩
I don’t care how good this may be you will never beat the sheer amazingness of in n out
As an in-n-out employee, a couple of things. That picture was for substance abuse awareness. Secondly, grilled onions or whole grilled onions really makes the burger better. You can also choose how you want the bun (for ex: extra toast, no toast, light toast). Also, you can choose different cooking for fries (light well, light, slightly light, extra well, well) I actually know a customer who gets 14 minute fries, however this is difficult through the drive thru just so you know lol. Chopped chilies are good and animal style is good but it's just adding grilled onions, mustard frying the patty, and pickles. And just as an opinion, I prefer the original logo all jokes aside lol.

As someone that lives in California, In n Out is my favorite burger place ever
My favorite part about nicks videos are the little Side quests he goes on in the beginning before we even get to the cooking.
Fly back to California, and when asking for the fries ask for lite well.
You’ll get the golden brown crunchy exterior and soft potato on the inside.
Also ask for grilled onions on the burger.

As a Californian I have an unwavering loyalty to in-n-out, it is the best fast food burger restaurant and nothing anyone says or does will change my mind.

the thing with in-n-out, is it's about customization. You can add anything or modify almost anything. What you should ask them to do with the fries is to double fry them. We all know why this is. The bus driver was also right about the animal style fries and ordering the burger with caramelized onions(if you couldn't tell, I eat too much in-n-out)

The meaning of the logo "In-n-Out is that they wanted to offer people a way of getting food without having to park, so they could just pop in and out and leave. Hence, the restaurant was named after that concept.

In-N-Out is something that will always be held dear to heart and bear great sentiment for all of us Californians. It truly is a whole and complete fast-food burger. That being said, you messed up by not asking for well done fries or grilled onions. They make the food SIGNIFICANTLY better. Another California secret is to get a flying dutchman with whole grilled onions and put it on top of animal fries. That can be a meal by itself especially if you don't have a lot of time.
Gonna be honest I just love watching him making and eat the food he makes

I was down in Dallas when they first opened down there. First time I ever tried in and out cause I'm from Missouri. Loved their burgers. The line was so long that it was backed up to the highway. The lobby was packed had to be a hundred people in there. Came back through a month later headed back to Missouri nothing changed there was still so many people.
I live in California and eat In and out burgers pretty often, and it definitely my favorite fast food!
