This is the attitude I try to have at work (different, but still). For a lot of em, this is their first or second job. And they cause a lot of problems until they calm down.

This and for so many other reasons wish prison truly helped in rehabilitation for anyone, because I was so young, dumb, and naive at 17-18. And everyone comes from a different walk of life. The way they just throw people in a cell, and don't even do the bare minimum to keep them healthy, happy and alive is honestly disgusting. Yes, there are murderers, torturers, a whole different breed of evil that lurks there, but it doesnt mean strip them of their humanity. Does that make us any better? And for profit? I think it makes us worse. "Them" the goverment, the ones making the money off of us. I wish their was a quick fix. Theres so much to unravel before any real change is done. Praying for those who are sleeping on cold beds, walking on cold floors, unable to get the treatment you need, those who didnt fall asleep with full bellies. You are all being prayed for tonight.

I think it's super sad that they put young people grown adults. 17-Year-Olds don't have the emotional intelligence to watch their back in jail for the most part. Unless they've grown up on the street and are very StreetWise but all or in jail. Our prison and jail system is absolutely f*****.
