    I enjoy these peeks into the environment and workflows of successful creative people that these videos provide.

    Interested in what Andre is using for the two summing mixers? Seemed like he was using RME audio interface (a UFX maybe?). But didn't spot the summing mixers. I'm kind of interested in these Cranborne 500R8 with the API lunchbox slots. Their preamps like the Camden are cool too, transparent, but with the 'Mojo' circuits and their two different colouration settings. Antelope Satori, and the Heritage API one look interesting too.

    Hi Andre,
    gerade bei dem Track der im Hintergrund am Anfang und am Ende läuft,
    wie hast denn da den Bass gemacht? Hört sich nach was mit reverb an?

    This feels like that scene in Lost In Translation where the Japanese director is saying a lot and the translator says to Bill Murray “ Please turn left” 😂.
    He is definitely saying a lot more than what these subtitles are writing, please fix it

      Defintely, I don't speak German at all. But you could tell when he spoke about the modded 707, he was saying more than was subtitled. Think he may have been talking about the hats and rides too (pitch or decay control maybe? not sure)

      Honestly, its not so much missing :D A lot of things were more elaborate in german, but overall it was just simplified and straight to the point

    What kind of analog mixing is he talking about when points to these SSL USB controllers?

    • @HH-Thorsten
      @HH-Thorsten ปีที่แล้ว

      He said he was using a big analog mixer in the past, but for now he prefer these SSL`s.

    Danke für den Einblick - Die Frage, die ich immer stellen muss: Wie synchst du deinen Stuff? Die 707 hat ja sicher kein USB, also machst du alles über Midi? Macht dir das synchen der Synths keine Kopfschmerzen? Mich plagen diese 2 bis 20ms Varianz die sich einfach immer wieder einschleichen..

    • @LORdXRaytHe1st
      @LORdXRaytHe1st ปีที่แล้ว

      rme interfaces haben meist nen realtiv stabiles midi system mit dabei, bei studios in dem ausmaß findet man aber oft ne hardware clock, die regeln alle probleme. Es gibt auch viele oldschool heads die auf alles mit synch scheissen, und einfach zb. die beiden 707, die boutique ecke und den bass bot miteinander chainen so das alles einfach läuft und dann so aufnehmen

      @@a1o1 I thought there were some nice effects. I liked the knowingly DIY aesthetic. I don't think it's an accident, they know what they are aiming for. Maybe we start to see the backlash against lurid TH-cam sets with artificial LED coloured backdrops, OTT Bokeh and saturated colours. Maybe people want realness. That's what drew people to TH-cam in the first place, the one person band thing. Techno too, often deliberately stripped down to basics.
