I love your videos and I love the NLT translation. The NLT Illustrated Study Bible has wonderful content but potential buyers should be aware that it has a glued binding. TH-cam and the internet are a wash with complaints about how quickly this large and very heavy Bible falls apart. Shame on Tyndall for producing one of the best study Bibles in by far the worst binding.
I just bought this Bible, man it's massive. Just by doing a quick glance on it, it's much more colorful then my NKJV full color study bible by Thomas Nelson. Holman publishes one but that's not the one I own.
Which one is better? NLT illustrated study bible or the NLT chronological life application study bible? I have NLT illustrated one, but i am contemplated on getting the chronological one , but also dunno if i needed both~ so please enlighten me on this one
That's a good question. I'm guessing that since NLT Illustrated is thicker, and I had to do 2 videos on it, for a complete review, there is more content. The Chronological is kind of its own thing. If you are more of a "big picture person" it's a blessing because you can open any part of it, and learn something (timeline at the top) for regular reading and searching, it's a little more cumbersome because you have to look verses up through the table of contents. The emphasis on it is the chronological part. Several viewers/friends have said they really like it. Do you need it? We are in the golden age of biblical studies. There is more good content about the study of Scripture than ever.
@Melissa A ~ I have both, and they are both great! If you are a Bible Collector, I would advise you to get both. They are wonderful for both Study and Research purposes. 🌴
@@melissaadp ~ You will really enjoy the NLT Life Application Chronological Study Bible as well. It is loaded with information. I found a good way to go to passages using the Scripture Index. You can Bookmark it so you can get to it easy. After you've looked it over you'll see what I mean. Enjoy your Studies! 🌺
I have the NLT Filament Bible but I'm thinking of getting the NLT ILLUSTRATED BIBLE. However, I went through your channel to see if you reviewed the NKJV FULL COLOR STUDY BIBLE but I didn't see it. Please review that one too.
Hello Dr. Dan between The NLT illustrated Study Bible and the NIV Fully Revised Study Bible which you prefer? I want to purchase one out of the two. I have the Life Application kjv Study Bible. Thank you!
The NLT Illustrated is the most comprehensive. There is more of everything including tables and charts. The NIV fully revised is also really good as well. I'd have to say NLT Illustrated is better. The only caveat is if you prefer NIV translation, you might want to pull the trigger on that one.
I have that study bible Dr.Dan, i specially like the graph that breaks up the psalms in diferent catagories.
That would make a wonderful Christmas present for someone - someone like me!
Sir from what I can see, I am jealous of your biblical library :) God Bless!

I believe that it comes with a sewn binding now, but maybe you could check.
Mine has a glued binding and it's still like new after 3 years.
Tyndale isn't really known for it's longevity unfortunately. They do make very nice stuff though.
Amazing study Bible! I love mine!
Thanx, Pastor 🌹🌹🌹
Yeah for the colleague who asked a good question 😊 Great review!
Tyndale has started to sell some editions of this wonderful Bible with a sewn binding. Praise the Lord!
Awesome glad to hear it! Thank you!
This is a good Review, and I am going to watch Part 2. I have this amazing Illustrated Study Bible and I am so glad about it! 🤗🌄
Thank you! As you know, this one is a treasure that makes learning fun.
@@BibleontheGo ~ Yes it does! 🤓🌄

gotcha I'm sure that they both have great features, I''ve got one ordered but the NLT Illustrated has no parallel yet
Looks like it packs a good punch for a study bible. I'd like to get this one but the glued binding keeps me away.
I’m getting that one in 2024
I've had this one for a couple years. It does have lots of info and illustrations.
Yes it is a good one
I have it and love it.
Good review
Thank you!

Thank you, good Idea, I'll look into it. The NLT Illustrated is particularly loaded with great material.
@@BibleontheGo The NKJV FULL COLOR STUDY BIBLE comes from Thomas Nelson Publishers.
Nice
If you can only have one which would you get between the Csb Baker illustrated and the nlt illustrated study bible?
The Nlt illustrated is by far better

I bought this bible because I’m Christian Hispanic who’s wants to improve my English 😊
wow that's impressive. This Bible may actually help because you will want to keep going back to it.
