Wish we see something similar on the banks of Yamuna in Delhi as well. Yamuna being the National Capital deserves a proper Modern River front like Sabarmati with local cruise shipping facilities from 1 point to another on the river. It could be a major tourist attraction, boost night life of citizens of Delhi & also can host informal VIP meetings where Prime Minister can take World Leaders of other countries to Yamuna Waterfront like many other world leaders do in their countries when PM Modi visits their countries.
Wrong! India needs transport-oriented development where cars are secondary and pedestrians come first. Everyone person in Indian cities should have access to a train station.

there should be proper waterway over yamuna, going through Mathura, Agra, Prayagaraja to Varanasi and beyond.
There is a plan of action. Search for Pankaj Vir Gupta - "The Yamuna River Project" on the Channel, Poche Alter Ego Studio
I wish all major and minor rivers in India have a similar riverfront.

@@socialistsolidarity You are both half right only. India needs both. The main problem is to figure out in what order and how.
