    1:19 “And today, I AM using my stand mixer for this recipe”
    (Cues sad music with gray effect)
    “Zooms over to the jealous blue one in the background”.
    Lol that gets me every time! 😂😂😂

      @@SugarSpunRun I actually like making meringues especially since I’ve had my first KitchenAid Stand Mixer from November.
      I do have a question about it, normally after adding the cream of tartar, I would increase my speed up to the highest (which in this case with the KitchenAid, their highest speed is 10).
      Do you not recommend that speed for meringues?

    Just made your brown sugar cookies and they were SO GOOD! I was a little hesitant about using melted butter since the last time I used melted butter the cookies came out flat, but I followed your recipe and it came out delicious. Yum 😋 So thick, sugary, and sweet! I love it! I am really happy with how it turned out. Thank you Sam for perfecting beautiful recipes! I love watching your videos because you explain everything clearly and it’s understandable! Can’t wait to try out more of your recipes! 💕 💫 😊

      I’m so glad you enjoyed them! If you are ever using melted butter and the cookies spread too much you may have added your sugars to the butter when it was still warm. I’m so glad you are enjoying the videos and I appreciate your support. 😊 It really helps keep me going.

    I actually made these for Easter dessert. I wish I had made them as small as you did. I made them about dessert plate size. It was a little much lol But oh so sinfully delicious! I topped them with whipped cream, sliced strawberries and a strawberry (and sugar) sauce I cooked down and strained through a sieve.

    Love pavlova! Great video. My only wish is that we'd seen what the texture was on the interior. I've made large ones before. Perhaps I'll try smaller nests. Also, anyone making these, they are very prone to humidity so storage after making is iffy if not done properly.

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I know the texture is a nice shot but these can just be so difficult to get a good shot with. I tried. 😔

    Hi Sugar spun run, when you mentioned the large pavlova, the meringue is kind of like the crust of the fruit pie.

    Why they are turning little brown in the oven ?

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  ปีที่แล้ว

      If your oven is a bit too hot it can cause the browning to occur. :(

    Is there a reason why mine were sticky ? I followed all the directions and they were still sticky to the touch

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds like they needed a bit more time in the oven, if you’re in a very humid climate that could do it, too (but popping them back in the oven would help that, too!)
