Station 18 beach was by far our favorite...... We loved it in that area. We'll definitely be back.....

There’s 3 near by publix 5-10 minute drive from any direction! One of them being directly on Ben Sawyer Boulevard you take it straight down from station 18 I found this out the hard way most bathrooms were closed due to the storm so I went grocery store hoping to find one lol

Listen, just pick your day hop in your car even if you’re all alone - and take that ride you will not be disappointed. You need that peace in your life.! I committed this weekend so worth it I haven’t seen the water in two years let alone an ocean and drove 3 1/2 hours myself for a day trip definitely be going back soon eventually you will find me there more than you will find me anywhere near Greenville

Yankees moved down and the real estate went sky high. Taxes increases so greatly that many of the original residents have been forced to sell. Only the wealthy can afford to buy there now. So sad. My father was born at home on that beautiful island. Btw- Bill, it's pronounced Ft. Mooltrie not Multrie.

Loved the short history lessons! I take it you need a car to get to Sullivan’s Island from downtown or is there another means of transportation that’ll get you there? Any public transportation on the island itself? Do things close early there and is it walkable (city person here) if that helps you define “walkable”?

Glad you enjoyed the history lessons! Yes, the most convenient way to get to Sullivan's Island from downtown is by car, although you can also take a taxi or ride-sharing service. As for public transportation on the island, there are buses that run during the day, but the island itself is small and easily walkable, especially if you're used to walking around a city. As for closing times, most restaurants and shops close early on Sullivan's Island, so it's best to plan accordingly.

You can walk across there must’ve been 100 people exercising just down the bridge you can ride your bike. You can take a car you can Uber. You could ride a boat. I don’t think any buses go over there, but I could be incorrect but yes, there are more ways than one

no trip to Sullivan's is complete without a stop there. my dad and i used to ride bikes all over the island, and we'd always make Dunleavy's our pit stop.

I wish more places banned shirt term rentals. They have ruined cities

I love your videos Bill but next time please wear a helmet for your safety. When I fell off my Electric scooter I broke my humerus bone & hit my head hard enough that if I wasn’t wearing my helmet I would have had a skull fracture as well. Great video! Sullivan‘s island looks like a great place to retire starting at $1,600,000 for a nicer home there.

Thank you so much for your concern...and that you love my videos. Just think, if I do fall, you and all my other viewers will have a front row seat! LOL
