This is awesome Jake! We were trying to do a different kind of venom video twice now, but it's just so damn messy!!! Kudos for figuring it all out! Even we couldn't! Love it!
The best thing about this channel is that his inventions are actually really stylish and practical most of the time, an idea I have for an invention is essentially sub zero boots with liquid nitrogen, so like the fire shoes but they shoot both cold water and liquid nitrogen so there’s instant ice, idk if that would work but some type of shooter that actually creates solid ice would be cool
Closest I can think of is a cryo tank my friends dad had a oxygen tank to help him breathe at home so for liquid nitrogen I am sure it could work. Some how.
@@shauljonah6955 yea that could work, but I remember when Allen Pan did an ice blaster as well but it only froze things super quickly, which obviously is still cool but if you could make like solid ice it would be so dope
I love how these videos are more about the process of making something than the actual product being made. Super genuine and fun. Always a treat to watch
That suit is insanely sick man, really great job! I remember being obsessed with ferrofluid as a kid, but it was so messy my parents wouldn’t let me buy it… of course I eventually found a workaround and got some anyway. SO worth it.
There is a special kind of soap for removing stuff like this, the soap has some sand in it to get all of the liquid that had gotten into the creases of you skin and it is mainly used for removing oil
@@desertlark You can, but not many people use powdered soap anymore. They have Boraxo that we used to get at my old work that's powdered hand cleaner and it worked great
That was epically cool, JLaser! In theory, you could have worn a skin tight latex suit underneath the magnets to not have the ferrofluids touch your skin. I understand your unwillingness to not attempt another build it this kind, but I think you should have gotten more pictures of different poses before removing the suit. Great job on figuring out the ball magnets and their ability to transition the ferrofluids evenly! I'm so stoked by this entire concept. 💯
Tbh if he glued the magnets to the latex it could possibly be reusable...you would just have to wash off and replace the ferromagnetic liquid every time ‼️

At 9:03, with the nail and magnetic coil, I actually experimented with this phenomonon for my 7th grade science project when learning about electromagnetism. I ended up creating a sqaure out of it, putting a battery compartment in the middle to power the coils, and a stick attached to the battery compartment to hold it. It was like a hammer magnet, rly cool.
Instead of tiny magnets, what if there was electromagnet wire wrapped around your limbs under some sort of fabric that the ferrofluid could easily come off of? Then you could reuse the fluid and control where it goes.
That would take a lot of energy to make and electro magnets make lots of heat and can catch on fire easy if you don’t use high quality wire (which is expensive) and it takes lots of wire to wrap around an electro magnet to make it strong. Lastly if it was one big magnet the magnetic fields wouldn’t be even
Gru's freeze Ray would be sick, I'm imagining liquid nitrogen and water being sprayed out of two separate nozels and meeting in the air or on the target. I wonder if that's legal

Maybe you can use something like that, but with an oil repelling property since the ferrofluid is oil-based. If not on your body, you can at least cover ur table tops with it so that whenever the ferrofluid spills over, it can be easily collected without wetting the surface.
Jay have you thought about revisiting this. What if you created a 3d transparent suit. There is a paint called brand x liquid latex that most people use to create cool designs on their body, but I’d use it in a way you’ve done here with magnets. I’d add magnetic particles to the brand X and apply it to my skin, adding two or more layers. After letting it dry I’d add the ferrofluid. And IN THEORY, the ferrofluid should cover my painted skin evenly, giving the venom look. That’s just my idea of how to improve this.
I’m pretty sure that would be intensely difficult because you would need to have a super strong magnet and control it to make a tentacle instead of having it just stick on
1) After doing all that for us, maybe it’s time you did a project for yourself man, you definitely just earned it 😂 2) With the new Lightyear movie coming out soon, maybe make a Star Command suit? Or at least the extendable wings and wrist laser, maybe a retractable helmet, and MAYBE even a HUD system for the helmet
Hey, I was thinking a cool idea for something you could do would be making all of Batman’s gadgets like a working grapple Gun or a batarang the scans nearby entities and maybe a batarang that explodes or has a camera or spreads ice like his Hawkeye video
Honestly... Smart isn't the word that comes to mind. Creative? Sure. Relentless? Yeah. I mean, they do learn new things and roll with the punches and all that... But they usually end up doing things in whatever way they think of first... It's like a toddler with an engineering degree.

I like how at the beginning you thought about trees getting water tens of meters from the ground, then said pump (only grape and few other plant generate pressure with roots to pump water up) and then tried capillarity with paper towels (only flowers use capillarity as it is impossible to get water up to more than 30-40 cm with it), ignoring the fact trees use osmosis to get water to go up xD
This is probably the coolest experiment I've seen. Pretty dope. The only thing left is to add a venom helmet. Just gotta be careful the ferrous fluid doesnt get in your eyes, mouth, and ears.

I've always wanted to see ferrofluid get used in some cool way but wow, didn't think it'd be used like this. Very nice. 🙌
did you know that thing blqck ooze reacts to sound also
I mean sound like speak next to it and it moves around like makes different shapes like spikes
Make Han Solo's blaster from Star Wars: A New Hope. I know Hacksmith did something with a flare, but you could use an actual plasma shot. Even if it's only single-action, that'd still be amazing.
This is easily one of my most favorite vids from this channel. Even though this took a lot of work, it's still nice to see you guys are having fun.
Make a full on red skull suit
Maybe attaching a stronger magnet onto the system might help you to collect the terrofluid back up instead of de-magnatizing the entire system.
This dude is legit amazing and I love how me just manages to complete these challenges by thinking outside of the box.

I think it would be pretty cool to see a carnage tentacle! Like one that could shoot spikes!
T E N T A C L E : )
I’m pretty sure that would be intensely difficult because you would need to have a super strong magnet and control it to make a tentacle instead of having it just stick on
Be quiet kim. You sound smarter that way.
@@thethethee I was thinking the same thing-
@@thethethee Geez
1) After doing all that for us, maybe it’s time you did a project for yourself man, you definitely just earned it 😂 2) With the new Lightyear movie coming out soon, maybe make a Star Command suit? Or at least the extendable wings and wrist laser, maybe a retractable helmet, and MAYBE even a HUD system for the helmet
Ah yes saying he earned a break and then asking him to do a giant project

Hey, I was thinking a cool idea for something you could do would be making all of Batman’s gadgets like a working grapple Gun or a batarang the scans nearby entities and maybe a batarang that explodes or has a camera or spreads ice like his Hawkeye video

I say he should deffinetly do it
Yes he must make my gadgets
That is so cool like a real venom transformation moment

Honestly... Smart isn't the word that comes to mind. Creative? Sure. Relentless? Yeah. I mean, they do learn new things and roll with the punches and all that...
But they usually end up doing things in whatever way they think of first... It's like a toddler with an engineering degree.
Imagine it actually took that long for venom to take over his host💀💀
Yea but this time, the host actually wants the venom to take over
Oh lord

I've watched the anime "Megalobox" and thought it would be so cool if it existed in real life. So, I suggest you make the exoskeleton without sacrificing the speed or fluidity of the punches.
If I had your skills & knowledge, I would be building a real life Jaeger from pacific rim, in an underground garage, even if it would take years lol.

Megalobox exoskeleton would be something else bro

I like how at the beginning you thought about trees getting water tens of meters from the ground, then said pump (only grape and few other plant generate pressure with roots to pump water up) and then tried capillarity with paper towels (only flowers use capillarity as it is impossible to get water up to more than 30-40 cm with it), ignoring the fact trees use osmosis to get water to go up xD
This is probably the coolest experiment I've seen. Pretty dope. The only thing left is to add a venom helmet. Just gotta be careful the ferrous fluid doesnt get in your eyes, mouth, and ears.
It’s not toxic so eh

My thoughts: Oh Ferrofluid, that makes sense..... oh wait, that poor man.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:17 Jesus saves.
This is such an amazing concept. Maybe with time it could be revised, rethought, and remade.
Yayyyy

Hey you should check out the mission impossible: ghost protocol invisibility screen, or the invisible man movie suit for ideas on improving your cloak. The screen from the mission impossible movie was very similar to how you did yours!!!
I’m convinced venom’s liquid form is highly inspired by ferofluid
Or ferofluid is made from venom but like killed venom where they kill the parasite aspects
@@bobjoy1485 :O
Maybe
The ferrofluid was invented by NASA's engineers in 1960s and venom was created in 1984..
Idk some venom creature landed on earth and NASA engineers killed it and made ferrofluid and then Marvel got inspired and made venom 😂😂

Make a Batman grappling hook!
This is definitely the most challenging project you've made so far....good job🙂
