I've seen enough of these to know its never the traveller who makes sacrifices in the relationship it's always the non traveller expected to drop all their culture. Maybe relationships would work better between travellers and gorgers if travellers made any attempt to accept gorger culture.
That appears to be the case when a woman marries into the gypsy family that she adapts to the gypsy way. From what I have seen if a woman marries a non traveller then she becomes a non traveller.
